New accounts on Sainsbury's get an £18 discount on a £60 spend. Add Battlefield 1 (£42.99) and £17 of shopping to receive the discount. Perfect if you need to do your weekly shop. Code is SCSEXSVCM. Valid until 1/11/16

Oh man this Sainsbury's thing is silly. We could go round saying any flipping item is £18 off when you sign up blah blah blah.

22 Oct 16 18 #3
What does it matter that you can use this for anything? The point of the OP's post is that you can grab a newly released game for approx £18 cheaper than you can get it anywhere else. You'll find that most vouchers for other online supermarkets can only be used for groceries. Definitely hot for me

That code worked for me.

1 Nov 16 #150
Because the code had been stopped by Sainsbury's, but it is possible I think to get another code, that's why it expired as a post confirmed the code was no longer working. But I did get the game on the second delivery attempt as Sainsbury's kindly gave me a £18 voucher for letting me down with out of stock order.

My shopping arrived on time about an hour ago with Battlefield 1 on PS4 with no issues. Also had a pack of biscuits and some sandwich thins for free. My total bill was £55 to pay including delivery, and the food I had would have cost me about £35 in Asdas anyway, so had the game for £20, happy days!

I was furious with Sainsbury's I had battlefield 1 on the order last Tuesday the 25th and allowed me with ease to add to basket, so spent the further £60 to get the £18 of. No surprise looking at other posts they turned up without the game, so I sent the whole order back and went mad on the phone.they where still showing it in stock days after, very underhanded thing to do, not sure I will ever use them again. Why not an easy email to let me know 2 days before when I did the order.

Well I got BF1 and some beers delivered but credit card charged full amount, just had an email from Sainsburys .......

"During your recent online shop with Sainsbury's you added vouchers to your order but we were unable to apply them all.

We're just writing to let you know that we will be refunding you with the value of the voucher(s) that we could not apply. A Customer Service voucher worth £15.00 for the total amount will be credited back to your voucher wallet, so it should be available to spend next time you shop online.

I share all my digital games with my mate so they are half price which for me balances out the fact that they have no sell on value at all

He doesn't want Xcom though because he already has it on pc, it's a stupid price for the digital version so I'm looking to get the physical version which I may then sell once I've completed it depending on how much it's worth.

It also saves me having to change discs to change games but that's quite a minor thing!

Just picked up BF1 and 2 crates of bulmers in bottles for £43 - with free click and collect. Beer & Console games do count towards "groceries". Anyone who says otherwise is blatantly lying. Spirits however, do not count, as described in the t&cs. You are deluded if you like BF or a small selection of the sainsburys games and miss this offer! Thanks OP.

The game does not count towards the shopping as mentioned further above, as I have ordered it and took ages changing it as you have to spend £60 on shopping then add on the game at just under £43 so just £103, then you get the discount. Only did this as I was after shopping

Thought I was gonna give some better news on this voucher. After going to Sainsbury's site and checking the games to add instead of shopping. I thought I would have a list to add but there's hardly any other games worth adding.
You could add:
Destiny the collection for both formats but it's £5 more than the cheapest deal out there.
Bioshock collection for xbox only.
And batman telltale games on both but it's about £6 more than the cheapest available.

So...I'm afraid it cold from me as The extra money you pay on a branded shop at sainsbury's will probably negate £10 off this voucher's saving. As well as getting Battlefield for about £4 cheaper elsewhere.
