Not the most exciting deal, but 7.5KG of rice for £2.38 is a steal! I'm guessing that it is national too since it is on the shelf label!

Probably old Morrisons stock they're buying.
What does ageing rice do then apart from possibly incubate a cure for Ebola?

its like wine the older the better...people buy them and keep them for couple of years so that they get old. probably better taste and flavour and less likely to go mush.

I've had rice of all ages from very fresh to aged unless you have a very good taste buds no way you can tell the difference only difference I've noticed is the length when cooked :man:

Reduced to clear, as it says on the shelf-edge label in the image. Therefore there may be some at this price in your local store. If they stocked it and If there is any left.
Always worth checking for reductions when you go shopping but not worth a special journey.
