Starting tomorrow (27th October) Asda have the following wine on offer at 6 bottles for £24. I went into store this evening and saw the offer set up however when I got to the till the offer didn't scan. We went back to the display and the planogram showed that the offer actually starts tomorrow, they did honour it today though as all the POS was very clear.

Looking on the website for deliveries after the 27th, the following wine is included:

Jacob's Creek Sauvignon Blanc

Casillero Del Diablo Sauvignon Blanc

Casillero Del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon

Wolf Blass Red Label Chardonnay Semillon

Barefoot White Zinfandel

ASDA do this occasionally and the wines are pretty good. They have an Aupouri Sauvignon Blanc on this offer and it makes it the least expensive Marlborough wine anywhere.

I could easily drink 6 bottles of wine in an evening and it wouldn't touch me, wouldn't even be slightly drunk, so where's the 12 bottle deals, at least I could get a bit merry then.

Just picked up 6 x Koru Sauvignon Blanc (Wotwine would pay £9 per bottle) & 6 x Jacob's Creek Merlot (Wotwine would pay £6.50 per bottle). Happy days!

I pop along to Asda every few weeks but I only ever choose on red wine. it was recommended in the Times a few years ago and its never let me down. Just promise to leave a couple of bottles for me.

Above comment is correct. just got 6 x Jacobs Creek from tesco for £24 after taking off other brand match items. Still good value but the end of another era of Tesco wine glitch

I was just about to post Jacobs Creek 2015 Classic Shiraz Wine, 75 cl (Case of 6) £25.56 @ Amazon, and then I saw this thread. I'll be going to Asda instead!

Some of these are available at Tescos (who are also running their 25% off 6 bottles or more), so could be a good opportunity to utilise the price match offer if so!

e.g. Campo Viejo Rioja Tempranillo 75Cl is £8.00 per bottle at Tesco
Jacobs Creek Shiraz £6.50 per bottle etc....

If someone clever (and braver...and better at Maths) can try it and post the result then could help people save a lot :smile:

Tesco have sorted this glitch . Now takes off 25% then Brand Guarantee on the reduced price (will take it down to £24 for 6 bottles) that's why they had 2 days of 25% off the other week to test their software did this.

Ha ha yeah, the only reason I didn't stock up for Christmas is because I didn't have a basket or trolley, I'd only nipped in for one bottle of wine! I wish I had noticed the prosecco at the time, I will be going back to stock up on that tomorrow....
