I'm looking for a power bank that activates quick charge on my Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. Both my power banks (EC Technology) power banks charges it at normal USB rate. However the same power bank charged my Note 3 at the faster rate as it used different technology based on USB 3.0.
Are there any power banks out there that will actually activate the fast charge feature on the new Samsungs?
Many Thanks

This does. But anything with quick charge 3.0 will.
I have the power core 10000 and it'll fast charge as well as the 3.0 car charger from them.

The note edge is quick charge 2.0. Use a good quality USB cable and any Qualcomm QC 2 or 3 charger will work. The only time I have had any issues is when I have used cheap USB cables.
I use a really good 10, 000mah Aukey powerbank that works with QC2.0 and also activates FastCharge on my Samsung S7 edge. It works really well and will utilise QC2.0 to recharge in a short amount of time providing you use a suitable wall charger. Anything with QC2.0 will work with any Samsung phone from the S7 and older. Hope you find one.

According to the first question on Amazon (above the reviews), no you can't do both at the same time.

Get the smaller one also on offer, which does. Unless you really must carry round this beast.

Can you please confirm whether your S7 Edge states 'fast charger connected' when you connect this to your phone? Many thanks

Can anyone tell me the difference between this and the RAVPower 22000mAh ? Seems to me, with the £5 off promo code, the RAVPower pack is a better option ? (ie 3 usb, more capacity, li-polymore battery etc )
Just a tip folks, but if you've got a phone that has a swappable battery, you're much better off buying a couple of spares instead. I keep one in my jacket and one more in both of my rucksacks, and for the price of barely any space or weight, I have a full extra charge's worth of power that I can swap into my phone instantly. No wires, no heavy power bricks, no waiting to charge. It's so much more convenient than using one of these portable chargers.

Other than having to take your phone apart and turn it off every time you want to charge it.
It's a power pack not a car battery but whatever works for you.

Good idea,
I prefer to use a power bank as it can be used on many more phones & tablets , also for charging camera batteries when on Camping holidays.

I'm gonna counter this and say no. I had a Galaxy S3 and an S4 and all those spare batteries are annoying to keep switch in and out and none of the 3rd party ones had the same capacity (more like 60%) of the genuine originals. And genuine original batteries cost £15! Which is the same price as these power banks.
Not only that but it's a bit of a hazard to carry loose batteries... if they get kept or punctured in your coat they can set you on fire.

Lots of Anker stuff on Deal Of The Day today. I wasn't after a power bank but just bought a 10 port charging station. Heat added. Thanks OP.

Never really heard much about Ravpower so can't comment on them but I'd rather go for the anker as they have never let me down with any of their products.

It does not support quickcharge (see picture number 3 on amazon).

It's a good deal but only for people using iPhones or ones that do not need quickcharge or usb c fast charge. Otherwise you'd better off with a power bank that uses those technologies to massively reduce the charging time.

Any battery packs out there that'll do USB Power Delivery? Looking for something that can charge my laptop and iirc Asus were working on something but there may be others around.

I bought this back in Spring from Amazon for £15.49 in a lightning deal so not such a great deal now. Guess the falling pound is to blame.

Bit annoying the smaller version at half the capacity is only £3 less expensive. Can anyone who owns this describe how easy it would be to carry this larger version around with you in pockets as the smaller one is looking more appealing in that regard?

I have this and it's brilliant.
The large version sits nicely in the pocket and not sticks out majorly. Probably around 1" on show.
Little heavy but last forever.
I put this in my coat pockets and its fine, weight is more of a drama than size.

Had it for +6months now and it is simply the best power bank I've ever had or tested. Lasts forever.
