The one in London is **** ... believe me, I was there.
£3.00 the first hour, £2 for the second hour and and £1 every hour after. on a dirty old flat.
They offer cookies and cereals from Sainsbury's and filter coffee that you can make yourself on a old coffee maker.
The kitchen at my office offer better services FOR FREE.
Also I could spend 2 or 3 hours or more at Nero, Costa or Starbucks for the price of a cappuccino.

I have been to the one in Liverpool. It was lovely and very different from the usual over priced American coffee houses. I helped myself to a couple of filter coffees, and had some toast. I did my own washing up, and will happily go back. It felt very relaxed and homely, and I would happily go back. I think I spent about £3.

Expired - this is old news, and it's actually 8p a minute in Manchester.

I've seen places around that offer these sorts of "rental" opportunities to businesses, renting out conference rooms and small cubicle rooms for people who regularly deal online and want a physical meeting. Ingenious little concept really.
I'm not sure how this would work, considering surely the food costs more to provide than they make in return? Coffee and Tea would be easy enough I'm sure.
Who is forcing people to become obese or diabetic? 6p a minute for a cup of coffee and use of wifi is pretty decent. You don't have to cram down loads of cake - and what business is it of yours if somebody does want a slice or two?
Since when do deals get judged on the potential for self abuse? Do you vote down TVs because they might turn some lazy fool into a couch potato? Are computers voted cold because some people spend too much time online? If you always vote cold on the basis that people can misuse the contents of the deal you'll be lucky to find anything worth voting hot!

Really? I see you live in Leeds but when did you get to Manchester in a few minutes? 1hour 10mins with no traffic, 45 miles. That's 2hours 20 mins round trip, at least £10 in fuel plus wear and tear. Then you have to find parking and navigate city centre traffic...

I really hope greedy people don't abuse it. I've been to the one in Manchester a few times, it's good but can see how it will end up if a load of Krankies turn up. Most people use it as a place to chill, work or relax, not to play supermarket sweep in the kitchen. The way these places stay open and thrive is from people being respective of the environment and agreeing with the philosophy (which is to share etc). If you are looking for cheap food, go to a chinese buffet or tesco cafe or wherever you usually go

been posted a few times but not for a while. The concept is ok but you are always watching the time and cant relax, you are looking at spending around £5 for two people for approx 45 mins. Plus I found other peoples cleanliness wasnt up to my standards so stopped going. Many a time plates where left full of food, instead of emptying the bowls etc they just put them in the dish washer or left them on the work tops, many plates stacked in the basin. Apparently they prefer you to wash the dishes after use, hmm I wonder why, I always washed mine. Food quality was ok it just depended on who bought the food in the morning, if Tesco was on the way thats where it came from.
I went a few times, I doubt I would go again.

This is where they get you. A 30 minutes visit consisting of 2-3 hot drinks and a few pieces of cake would most definitely not involve a quick nip to the loo for me. I'd probably be spending that 6p per minute being charged for my W.C visit, I'm getting old, the body doesn't tolerate like it used to.
That said, I totally love the idea. Definitely hot
