It's that time of year again when Matalan support Alderhey Children Hospital by selling products with 100% profit going to the hospitals charity.
My daughter passed away last year, I have first hand experience of how need support and extra funds are needed to care for poorly and terminal children beyond normal budgets. I am more then happy to support the cause and I love the pj theme. Totally get a Christmas photo in these with my daughters siblings and it's a lovely link back to her.
Prices range from £5-10 for baby, child & adult. They also do matching socks
Last year bobble hats they sold for this cause went fast.

Wowsers  really really pleased to see this thread smoking hot! Makes the Miss a little easier to take when you see people supporting this cause. The staff at the hospital as amazing and it certainly takes a certain caliber of person to care for terminally Ill children. I have to commend them all they never ever gave up on my daughter until she decided she had enough and her heart stopped :disappointed: these type of people don't care what time of day it is , if a child in crisis they return to work after a full day of surgeries or being on the ward and they fight the fight with them. A child in intensive care can look very shocking but for the staff that care for them with such love, they see what parents see in their children and treat them as individuals. I used to catch her nurse stroking her head looking at her with the same admiration I had for her while she lay still supported by machines. Totally love this place for trying to save her but equally I am fairly broken that she left, so thanks people for being kind, supporting this cause and being generally awesome

So sorry to hear of your loss, what a lovely way to honour both your daughter's memory and the help given by Alder Hey at the time.
I'd be disappointed if our HKUD community didn't make this the deal of the day.
I for one will be putting the pyjamas on with my family in support of this

Many condolences for your daughter its dreadful to lose any son or daughter but tragic to lose a child.
Is there a way of making direct online payments.
Both my parents worked at Alder Hey Childrens Hospital, Liverpool so helping out is close to my heart.
Wish I'd been at the opening of the new hospital with my 83 year old mum.
thanks

Wanted to buy two adult PJs n a baby grow for our 10 mths old beautiful boy who had heart surgery at 5days old but every time we visit alderhey they've sold out tried lookin in mataland n online but none they have sold out too been lookin for awhile we are so gutted ! Brilliant hospital n cudnt say a bad word about alderhey there wonderful supportive nurses amazing consultants n miracle working surgeons if it went for alderhey operating so quickly at 5days old n 24hr non stop care we probably wouldn't have our beautiful 10mth old son sat with us now! This hospital not only works miracles by saving our bbys/children's life's they make u feel as comfy n relaxed as possible throughout your stay offering shoulders to cry on wen needed at such a traumatic stress full time. RONALD MACDONALD HOUSE is a god send for family n parents who need a place to stay during there childs stay especially family's who live miles away from hospital n have no way of mean to travel its amazing how much people donate to keep this charity run home away from home so many would be lost without your help n I'm so glad we could help by donating bby clothes from tiny baby up to 6-9mths old cookies n brownies bby bottles for parents whom baby have unexpected unplanned visits Etc So people please keep up the good work n keep donating to keep this place functioning it cost£125 a week to house a family in Ronald McDonald house n your donations cover those cost every little helps x

Thanks OP. Picked some up when I was there last week with my 4 Month old. He has problems with his heart and renal system and Alderhay have been wonderful. Liverpool women's looked after us during my pregnancy and alderhay have cared for him (brilliantly) since he was born.
My newborn son died in 2010 so I have been there, but this is one t-shirt I am happy to have.
All the best.

So sad, stay strong - people are thinking of you and your family and I am sure Matalan will sell out of these PJ's! Thank God for places like Alderhey and the staff that work in them though - I spent nearly 10 weeks in Walton hospital and have nothing but praise for that hospital and the staff there too.
