got two of these for £60 from lunzertech before xmas both refurbished units but arrived in mint condition both run really wet and the kids said they are zippy .

they all want to spend £55 for tablet, and want 4k ratina screen 4gb ddr3 ram, octacore processor, 1tb ssd, 10 years warranty and butler to cook for them for rest o life,
after all this demand they'll pull out 10% off voucher code off the net just before making payment,
seriously I don't understand mentality of these folks, what you expect for 55quid ??? (probably everything I have listed above :smile::smile::smile: )

I'm in the 1gb-not-being-enough camp. I found the poor performance closely related to resolution. The kids have had 1gb tablets and they are dire with full hd screens. I had an LG G3 phone with 2gb ram and plenty of cores but it had a super hd screen (higher than full hd) and was slow. It's all very well if it doesn't have the latest OS version but then it may not run the latest versions of the latest apps. My current phone has 3gb ram with "just" a full hd screen and it's plenty fast. 1gb may be enough with a "hd ready-ish" screen, it may not. At this price it's a billy bargain.
Ps speaking from my own experiences over years of having many phones and tablets. If you don't agree that's ok, just sharing my experiences.

comment on the spec-to-price ratio. The Amazon 5th gen tablet is 50. It's 7". It's got 1GB ram. It's only 1024x600 res. Yet it's a great little tablet. Compare this to that one, it is a great deal. Compare to what's already out there before you start trashing something.

very true. android does run better on 2gb of ram. it runs even better on 4gb. and even better than that on 16gb. I'll wait for the 1024gb ram version of this tablet, that will run better.

If your not able to to transfer apps to your sd card, try rooting it or your sd card didn't have enough memory to.

Android runs better on 2gb or more for sure but your right 1gb runs well enough for most especially on a modest resolution

Only one gb ram. Android needs at least 2gb ram to work properly. Also I gave had problems with luzern tech before where they sent broken tablet from Poland and I had to file PayPal dispute and send it to Germany to get refund.
