Induction hobs are the nuts, we've had 1 for years. Far better than gas or normal electric.

I paid £360 for this around 12 months ago, its been superb use it heavily.
A few things of note, sometimes a bit overzealous with the turning off if liquids are spilled on it, but considerably better than our old ceramic hob. It also scratches easily.

totally agree, i have had my candy one since 2011, not so good with cheap pots though as the rapid heat up can cause the pot bases to warp and part company with the pot but with a set of le creuset then it is spot on.
