Yes I have an AOC G2460PG 24" 144Hz Gsync monitor which I replaced with two of these running on an Nvidia 1070. Other than the blacklight being a bit more uniform on the AOC I cannot see a single difference other than now I have speakers and plethora of connectors.
I get about 300fps in CS:Go and over 150 in most other games, have yet to see a single tear and quite frankly never saw any of it when games were running below 60 anyway.
As said both GSync and Freesync are only useful if you're playing a low FPS, but then, unless it's 4K, why are you buying an expensive GSync monitor when your graphics card cant push beyond 60fps, seems counter intuitive. Spend the £100+ savings over non-gsync monitors on a better graphics card.

I am in the exact same position and I agree, I have used the standard model without g sync and I noticed no difference, Im tempted to get this as a replacement / 2nd monitor as it seems like a good deal.

If your monitor does not have GSync and your GPU is unable to produce 144FPS, you will notice tearing. While the tearing won't be as pronounced on a 144hz monitor as it would be on a 60hz monitor because the image stays on the screen for a shorter amount of time, it will still be there.

Seems like 300 everywhere. Where you guys find thus sub250?
Great price, not 1440p so I wont vote either way on this one.

Great deal! Was tempted yesterday. Went back to buy today and looks like it's expired :disappointed: I guess I need to be quicker next time.

It's pretty sweet, with them being curved it looks much more natural, wish I had the desk space for a third one.

Have you used gsnyc? I have a pg279q, Gsync is absolutely not a waste of money.
GSync is a waste of money, almost all monitors with it only come with a single DP port and no speakers but more importantly it becomes useless at high frame rates, above 80, as tearing will disappear or is imperceptible. It is only useful atm if you play at 4K and getting 30-60FPS.
My advice is just get a good responsive 144Hz monitor and invest the money you've saved on a graphics card that will give you those nice high frame rates.
I have a pg279q, Gsync is absolutely not a waste of money.

Good price but yes, not being 1440p or above is its downfall.

Well Acer does make one but it's more than double the price, which I was contemplating but in the end I'd rather have two of them.

Dammit just bought two of them last week :disappointed:
Regardless they're really nice monitors, 144Hz with good colours and the curve, even though I hate it on TVs, works really well on a monitor at this size and distance, liked it so much so that I bought two of them and replaced my AOC G2460PG 24" 144Hz Gsync monitor.
The downside is that the blacklight uniformity isn't great, there is a lot of it bleeding out but cant really tell when playing games.

Looks like a good deal. I recently bought a 144Hz display, seems to give a more solid picture.
