The Acer Aspire ES1-571 laptop is perfect for every-day users, with lots of appealing features and an attractive design that exceeds expectations. With many enhanced components and a textured surface, the Aspire ES1-571 is a good bit better at delivering a good bit more.
Beautiful Form
The stylish textile pattern is enjoyable to the eye and pleasant to touch. Edge highlights emphasise the stylish look and are complemented by the smart undercut design that is both good looking and lets you easily raise the lid with just one hand.
Functions Better
Included are fast wireless networking, high speed 8GB DDR3 system memory and a 1TB 2.5 inch 5400rpm hard drive - plenty of storage for your downloads, documents, games and more.
2 YEAR WARRANTY
Detailled specs on Costco link
Note that non-Costco members will be charged an additional 5% as per all Costco on-line deals
I'm only looking for a cheap laptop for the missus who uses it to email, browse the net, play games such as Solitaire (nothing too taxing for her as you can see).
Any advice appreciated.
I like the sound of the 128SSD in the Saveonlaptops deal but as I said put off a bit by the Lenovo scare - am I being overcautious?
(I tried to add a pic but no go)

I am sorely tempted by the following deal - http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/80S20002UK-Lenovo-B50-50_1886544.html
- which was added by WS007 to another deal - http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/acer-aspire-es-500gb-laptop-199-99-argos-2523576
See comment #7
but I was then put off Lenovo by a comment by Ollie87 (Comment hash eight :sunglasses: in this deal -
