I was looking at ebuyers clearance section, noticed an ex-display monitor and then saw that a brand new one of these was £5 more. I mostly bought this because I like the stand...
Cons as far as I see it - not IPS, 1080p (general consensus seems to be 27" should be >=1440p), and not g-sync (obviously not for this price)
Pros - 144Hz (using HDMI2.0, displayport), curved, freesync (if you use it) and PRICE! (£80 off, can't see it cheaper anywhere else)

Pretty good on 27" though.

I bought this monitor from Ebuyer last week. I am very happy with the quality and performance. It is fast enough to keep up with the refresh rate demands at 144hz. It uses the new Samsung SVA panel. It is almost the same as the Acer Z271 but without Gsync. Z271 Review
Some good points are good contrast 3000:1 so blacks are good. It is a true 8 bit panel so has better colours than TN. It doesn't suffer from IPS glow. It has 2 display port and 2 HDMI 2.0 connections so 144hz can work over HDMI.
somebody better comment what's wrong with this one before I buy it

Bought a 23.6" 144hz Acer last week for £230. Wouldn't want to get a 27" curved on 1080p, that resolution would bring me to tears.

1080p at 27" does unfortunately not look too good. I have that set up now on my current monitor, it is 144hz at least. I'm looking to upgrade, if this were a higher resolution, I'd snap it up!

Picture quality != resolution. You can have amazing colour ranges, contrast, etc. but if the display is only 4 pixels it's going to look bad overall. Rule of thumb is you want a high enough pixel density (or DPI) to not be able to see any one pixel.
Your monitor and this one both come out at about 80dpi (79 for yours, 81 for this). The ideal value depends on range of the display which is why a 1080p TV looks okay from the sofa but go sit in front of it and it looks blocky. ~100dpi is the ideal value for a monitor which we sit much closer to. There's a bit of personal preference there, some people have better or worse eyes, personally I'm at 110dpi and I love it. 80dpi looks rubbish to me, blocky, distractingly so.

How would this look low res, I've got a 35" ultrawide curved at 2560x1080, so similar but it's no way a low picture quality

Great deal and I was going to post this myself when looking around. It's just no g-sync and only that put me off but heat added.
Another option for £60 more but has G-Sync Overclockers

I'd prefer 1440 at this size but sorely temped, I'd say great deal.

Try to find something negative but aside from the curving this appears to be a bargain as the only other good alternative is the AOC 27" G2770PF which sells for ~£250 and is a TN panel.

It's curved and 1080p which at this screen size will look really low resolution. On the other hand it's pretty darned cheap!
