If you have various makes of IP camera and they all support onvif, you can view and record them all from a single program, like iSpy, but if each only works with its own app then it would be a bit of a pain. Also if you use the camera manufacturer's P2P app to monitor it over the internet, you are reliant on them to provide effective security.

It claims to support Onvif, so it should work, but the reviews indicate otherwise.
If it doesn't get detected by an onvif client, I would try the folowing url for rtsp access rtsp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:554/onvif1 and 5000 for the onvif port, on the off chance that it shares common firmware with the camera I linked to above and they've enabled rtsp access.
