by using the brand guarantee (min 10 different items in your shop) the reductions are as follows
6 bottles @ £7.50 = £45.00
brand guarantee - £15.00=£30.00
25% discount (on £45)-£11.25=£18.75

you still have time to get a much better deal than this - search for the other Tesco wine deal today. I got 28 bottles of superior Hardy's Stamp wine for £2.50 a bottle.
The 25% off 6 or more bottles & 2 for £9 deals are stacking

No this would require you to buy 10 different items, BUT they've fixed it now so this won't work.

You need to buy 10 different items for the brand guarantee to work. Easiest way of doing this is to go around Fruit and Veg and pick 9 different single loose items (carrot, onion, mushroom, potato, etc - Haribo 10p sweets also work)- assuming there's nothing else you want in store. Don't add items 'on offer' as they may reduce the amount of your brand guarantee.

Can you list which 24 bottles you bought? Best I can get is coming in at over £3 per bottle for 24.
Did you collect or get it delivered as well?

Wonder if it works on the Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc? On offer in Morrisons at £6.50 (rather than £9 and brand match with 25% off would make this £4.88 per bottle (if you buy 6) in Tesco.

well it was 2 orders
12 of one type of Hardy's stamp, 2 bottles of the other - mine was an online order last night as we worked this out yesterday - you need to get your order over £40 or you pay a £4 fee - which is why I ordered the other 2 bottles
nae problemo as still 2 for £9 and 25% off 6 or more
don't stress your head too much - I also had a £4 off £40

Does it work with loose fruit/veg? I always struggle to understand 'pick 10 things'. Just read an article and they said it wasn't included. Any update appreciated. Cheers.

useful buys include long life milk - skimmed, semi skimmed, full - always the same price everywhere so good for comparison; own brand mineral/ spring waters; not keen on the sweets myself but they also work
DON'T buy the bargain you see in the same trolley load - just keep it separate & pay for it in a different transaction

The article I read noted the reader used MySupermarket to find prices, and it had to be exact. Eg if the discounted item was fairy lemon, buying fairy lavender wouldn't work. Perhaps try that.

This means that they won't Brand Guarantee these items - but they still count as one of your ten items required to get a Brand Guarantee on the wine. Buy 10 or more different products is the only requirement for Brand Guarantee to work. https://secure.tesco.com/brandguarantee

Actually I'm wrong it does give the double discount.
But it is taking the discount off first so 7.50 x 6 = £45 - 25% = £33.75, then it does the brand match , so £33.75 - £30 = £3.75 bm. So works out at £5 a bottle same as Asda.
But obviously there are people on here with different results but won't show their receipts

Prefer the San Lorenzo Reserva Rioja myself. Great deal even at £7 a bottle, and my local Tesco normally has it bottled 2008 vintage. Shame the 25% isn't working for me else I'd be all over this.
Just been to Tesco got 25% off wine 6 bottles or more also got any promotions off 2 £9 for example even already reduced wine is included What I found a bit strange was no signs at all referring to to 25 % offer it is usually splashed all over shop It was just luck on my part I was using hand held scanner and it flashed on screen when 6th bottle went in also had £6 voucher when spend £60 which made for a very wine shop

Can also confirm 25% off 6+ wines worked today (Tue 11/10) in store, with no mention in store of it.
Today 11/10 was the last advertised day of the offer which DID appear on their website yesterday; I'm presuming it's vanished from website as ordered today = delivered tomorrow ie after the offer expired.

Just a question about brand match, would brand match come off first or would 25%, for instance if you scanned 9 items then put wine through would brand match Come off then 25%. Cos then that would explain why deal is working for some and not possibly? Explains why I may have only got £3.odd off rather then the stated amount in the beginning

Yes, we already have proof the 2 for £9 and 25% work together in another thread, but culli above tried with the faustino and it only brand matched £3.75 off, which matched asdas price of £5/bottle - this is not how it worked in previous 25% 6 or more promotions. It used to take 25% off the total and then £15 for the difference (£2.50x6)
If anyone else can show this works, I'll be all over it. Until then, it looks like Mr T has caught on to our wine loophole :disappointed:
