and I have gone a full 5 months with that missing apostrophe.

Welcome to the diabetes and obesity club. Doughnuts are the worst junk food. American invention I guess.

Asda donuts come into store frozen that's why they are doughy and have no sugar on them. Have to agree with the last poster Lidl are the best.

NO! They're almost healthy in comparison to a real doughnut. They're light, fluffy, and don't feel like they've got so much lard in them that they'd drag you down with them into a river made of your own despair. Awful things. I want doughnuts to delight and then lead to a greasy malaise that reminds us of childhood summer holidays before daddy left.

Isn't this dependent on the bakery in the particular branch? The equivalents from Sainsbury near me taste of vegetable oil, whilst Morrisons do seem to have more filling.

And as we are in Great Britain, it is Doughnut, not Donut.

Tell Asda not me ! Thanks ..... Although being a subsidiary of the American retail company Walmart it's no surprise, so let them spell it how they like :smirk:
no deal. they are at most 55p all year and are one of the worst supermarket doughnuts you can buy. they dont make them instore, they are small, dense and never have any sugar on them. spend an extra 15p and get sainsburys, which are made instore (fresher, lighter, properly sugared). At a push get Morrisons, again made instore but they coat icing sugar and in so doing ruin the 'nut - no crunch. Tesco are better than asda too, and they also ship theirs in. So dont waste your 50p, go to any other supermarket than asda.

don't agree about the tesco's ones. Tried their donuts a few times in different occasions. A few of them has no fillings in, totally rip off!

Must try these, normally buy the Morrisons Donuts because I like their Apple Version, same prices so must be the start of Donut Wars!
