The chicken farmer makes the chickens smoke. They're so full of chemicals that they grow to 6ft. Aha.

Doubt anyone will find chicken at this price unless it's store specific and a one off.

This is 'machine separated meat', so called goo. Take a look at this link which explains the process:
They are not fresh prime breast fillets. The nutritional information confirms this. Normal chicken breast has protein value in the region 30g per 100g, not 10g. Also fat is very high in keeping with reformed chicken.
Everyone knows that sausage meat isn't exactly made from the best meat available in town - that's common knowledge.. They never claimed to be 100% pure pork..
But when things are advertised as pure chicken breast (as in this case), they should mean just that.
Unfortunately, taking a look at the MSM process has made me feel physically sick..seems like even dog food doesn't go through this process any more..
Just on a side note these are actually
3 for £10 as seen on the pic, NOT 99p!!
Many thanks for your input anyway.
Kind regards,
I'll get my coat...

I respect your opinion. For me, I won't be going anywhere near this 'chicken'..
Any comments on the price? Seems 3 for £10, not 99p..
Kind regards

Fresh prime meat cuts means just that.. It doesn't say 100% meat, because it isn't. It just means that the mean quantity, however small, that's used in the product is from prime cuts..
I hope that clarifies matters for you and Mr Trebs..
Many thanks.

Firstofficer read comment no 9 it is 99p for 500g as advertised in my local evening paper and instore,
80% chicken with added salt and water, if you don`t like it don`t buy it simple, some of us appreciate a product for what it is, others should stick to glib comments

80% 'chicken'... Hmmm.. Sounds really 'pure' to me..

Ah who gives a crap about the quality, I genuinely ate 200g of farmfoods chicken almost everyday for around 18 months (with rice and usually marinade, and obviously plenty of other varied foods throughout the day), lost 110lbs and never felt better, this crap hasn't killed me yet. I can happily watch the infamous video of the pink chicken nugget goop whilst eat delicious chicken nuggets and not care. They're not filling this stuff with lead and uranium, it's basically reclaimed scrap smushed together. Sure, it doesn't sound appetising put like that, but it tastes good, and works well as simple chicken fillets or in curries or whatever you wanna do with them. If this is the best you can do for chicken rather than paying £14/kg (made up number to over emphasise my point) from your local farmers market, then it ain't too bad. If you're worried about this chicken, then god forbid you ever have to eat something you didn't grow yourself in your own pure, organic garden.

I've bought frozen chicken breasts from many supermarkets including farmfoods and they all taste the same and seem to share the same ingredients list. Are people complaining because they don't match the quality of fresh chicken or is it because they feel the farmfoods product is inferior somehow to the equivalent at Asda, Tesco, Lidl, Iceland frozen versions etc? They certainly appear to be chicken breasts in all cases with perhaps a bit extra water and salt added. Freezing stops bacteria dead and as meat goes Chicken is very healthy, can't see the problem.
