Find a local independent takeaway.
It might take a few attempts to find the good one, but once you do - they charge half as much as Pizza Hut *all the time*, they put twice as much topping on, and they taste way better.

I'd like to see you earn my £5.30 minimum wage (18-20), get forced to take 2-3 hour breaks mid day so they dont pay me, and them change the rota 3-5 times a week, sometimes with less than an hour's notice, and earn a good wage to actually live on
It's exploitation at it's finest, it is common knowledge that the living wage is the wage required to earn to live comfortably
In London where I live my wage is barely half the Living wage, I think its an absolute disgrace
Yet people like you downtalk college kids/uni students who work their butt off to get you pizza
Think. I don't think you could live on a fiver an hour with split shifts.

Prices too high sizes too small. Hadn't had a Pizza Hut for some time, ordered large and didn't have a little plastic dolls table in the middle that they used to come with to support the box lid because the box had shunk and the pizza was smaller than an old medium! Never again.

In glasgow Pizza Hut if you collect from great western road it's 6.99 any pizza and for delivery it's buy one get one free any time . If you want a real deal go to snap-fax takeaways and get more than 50% off and free side the more you prefer the more free sides you get double discount might be area specific but works fine for glasgow area . Happy pizza eating

Sounds good if you live in Yorkshire or a similar small northern area. Try living in London
All local independent pizza places charge similar prices (maybe a couple £ less) and if you want better quality you have to pay for it
This is the problem with a lot of franchises, they're just operated like real estate these days. With nobody bothering to uphold the standards there is too much inconsistency between stores.

Firstly the buffet is a pain for staff to work so I have no issue with it being just a lunch thing. Secondly there are loads of offers for your local pizza Hut restaurant, you simply need to sign up to offers and always check your locals webpage as it has them on there - I've got buy one get one free after 8pm on mine at the mo.

erm no, no and no again. You only have to work in one of the chains to realise how shoddy they can be. Its just work for them after all no ownership. With a family business they tend to take more pride and ownership of what they put out. based on experience in my local area anyway.

Do yourselves all a favour and make your own Pizza. I found this recipe and tried it myself. A basic pizza only costs a few quid and only takes a few minutes of work. The downside is the waiting makes it inconvenient but you can freeze the dough for emergencies! Most people won't have a cast-iron pan but they're £23 or so on Amazon and if you're saving £5 or so on Pizza each time it's a small price to pay.
That's a shame but most people should at least try their local independents. There's probably a decent one if you look, in some places it might take longer to find.

Dominos is the same for exploiting staff in regards to breaks. I was delivering for them as a stop gap. Usually started at 4pm and finished at 2am weekdays and 4.30am weekends, no breaks in 12/14 hours and your cleaning or making boxes when not delivering.

Independent pizza and kebab takeaways are forever being prosecuted for hygiene breaches or employing illegal workers.
If they don't follow employment procedures and save money by employing illegal workers, what chance is there that they follow food hygiene procedures?
I'd rather stick to the chains for fast food, because there is usually a good chance that their hygiene is up to scratch.

I used to go to Pizza Hut a lot a few years back they used to do really great pre 6.00pm (from memory) deals I think it was pizza and salad bar for under £6.95 approx I'd have dinner there before going home.
I also notice their lunch time special ends at 3.00pm some "Huts" 5.00pm during school hols NOT all.
• they need to bring back the pre 6.00pm 'special'
• extend lunch buffet by 2 hours to 5.00pm Mon to Fri in ALL "Huts" 12 months of the year
• have more offers like this great deal but include dine in as well as delivery.
