the 1m/2m are still in stock - as they don't specify what they are made of I'm not voting either way but for someone who just needs a cheap gigabit cable this is a steal.

i doubt it
i picked up some identical cables to that on ebay last year (identical markings on the insulation)
whilst they look and feel high quality a 10m cable fails to link at gigabit nevermind 10gigabit that they are spec'd for
god knows whats inside them but its not copper
a 2m cable registers as 30m on my tester

lol... still wondering how can a Ethernet cable can be DHCP compliant? unless it's a smart cable of course.

buyer beware: cheap network cable carries a high risk of being CCA. even leading retailers have started stocking this and attempting to cash in in consumer ignorance.

Well, I'm well satisfied with the 4 Cat6 two metre white flats that I collected today; they have considerably boosted the speed test results of my Zyxel PLA4215 500Mbps Powerline Pass-Thru UK Gigabit Adapter Kit(2 Units), 1x 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Ports, Integrated QoS, 128-bit AES Encryption, PLA4215-GB0201F and the coexisting TP-LINK 1200 Mbps Passthrough Powerline Kit. Had been using cables marked 5e before. Replacing ring-main to laptop cable seemed to be more significant than replacing router to ring-main cable.
Well pleased . Thanks again OP.

Sorry Batista to keep on about it; sounds like gloating but someone might be interested.
My Virgin Router to Desk Top direct cable was Cat5 and I've just changed it to one of these flat white 2m Cat6's and the Speed Test went up from 60 to 75. I am amazed. Not into cable technology. I report to ThinkBroadBand once a month and usually run a speed test at that time. This is the fastest I have ever recorded. I have the cheapest Virgin package I could get. Going to try to order a longer Cat6 cable from Maplin.

pleased for you mate
I am not tech savvy, I only started using cat6 cables because my broadband was very slow , called virgin and a really tech savvy guy sent me one of theses and also told me to buy a gigabit ethernet adapter, did as he said and my speeds increased by 60%, now need some more for the switch
hopefully will get them, maplin took 4 days to send me an email for the HDMI leads
Opening post
the 1m/2m are still in stock - thanks sh20
