I am thinking the plonker who alerted Amazon to the glitch may just have done us a favour. If a million HUKD'rs were all over this and too much losses were amounting from these give away prices , they Amazon would have been more likely not to honour and cancel our orders.

My status changed to despatched yesterday, and my order status says on the way, due Saturday! I'm not on prime and just chose standard free delivery. So happy as my smyths set turned up the other day :smiley:
On an added note, I thought i'd saw the correct payment had come out of my bank account, now going through my statement, I can't see a payment to amazon at all. Although my order page does still say total £24 ish pounds, and also the printable invoice says the correct amount and its dated yesterday (25th) and not the 21st when I placed the order. So hopefully all's good :smiley:

Placed 5 x3 orders. Had a couple of items cancelled, looks like they've reduced overall cost by 1/3 on each order. One was Dr Who level pack. Haven't yet checked my credit card statement though.
If they've increased the charge and you paid by credit card, query with your card company and send them the original order email backing up the correct price.

I spent an hour on chat and email trying to argue the fact that my order was 19.99 I have an email to confirm it yet they then changed that to 26.96 which they changed on my account and are now trying to tell me I'm wrong and it was never 19.99 despite having proof ... i strongly suggest you check you're accounts they cancelled one item then the order that was only £20.98 for three items cancelled to two and trying to charge me £30.98 ive spent 1 hour 3 mins on the phone they try and baffle you with shipment packing prices etc.
told them if my bill is over what ive had invoiced thats fraud and doing what you want.
deliberately knocking off one or two items to cause full pricing but ive gone through it with a fine tooth comb

On an added note, I thought i'd saw the correct payment had come out of my bank account, now going through my statement, I can't see a payment to amazon at all. Although my order page does still say total £24 ish pounds, and also the printable invoice says the correct amount and its dated yesterday (25th) and not the 21st when I placed the order.
