Someone better tip off the BBC who use about 5000 of these each year for their weekly Final Destination TV show also known as "Casualty"

​No leak. It's the nature of butane gas... as the gas is drawn from the bottle, the bottle temperature drops and the pressure drops with it. This continues to happen until the bottle basically freezes and the gas flow virtually stops. Only option is then to let the bottle warm up again. Didn't realise how much if an issue this would be, even during cool summer or autumn evenings. This is why I'd only have propane from now on for BBQ or outside heating. I've learned through experience!

They delivered to my drive way without me being home, some yobs rolled it down the hill grabbed it and threw it through the back of a car's rear window. Opened up the gas valve and chucked a burning cigarette through an open front window. BOOOM, half the windows on my street have been blown out. The Police are claiming I must pay for the damage as I left the gas bottle on my drive...WTF!!??

I bought butane from this company last year... no problems at all. However, I would only ever buy propane now... bought the butane to use in a patio heater and it loses pressure after its been on for a while (maybe an hour) to such an extent that it becomes basically useless.

My parents have a heater that takes these cylinders...they normally get a 15kg cylinder, would this one be ok?

If you check your local flogas depot it will probably be a little cheaper if like me delivery is not convenient. At the Birmingham depot it's currently £19.43 if collected , I guess they might want an exchange bottle though.

I hope they can deliver this time. my previous attempts have been cancelled

There larger 47Kg Propane Gas Cylinder are £59.99 with free delivery, ideal if you live in the country and need them for your cooker or is there a cheaper deal out there?

Very good deal used them a couple of times before for my gas BBQ how ever this summer I detached the regulator and the little ball inside the valve got stuck releasing all the gas with the biggest powerful woosh it scared the f out of me and the kids and I had to pick the bottle up and run down the bottom of the garden with it and just let the bottle empty it's self so that was a wasted nearly full bottle gutted. And nearly took my hand off with the pressure. I would buy from them again these things happen but it dose make you wonder if the bottles are cheaply made sometimes but cheap buy twice.

When this deal is expired, it's worth remembering woldlink, they are slightly cheaper than this price and deliver nationwide for free. No bottle deposits on all bottles including propane. They're banned from HUKD for some reason though, so can't post deal, but can be found on google/facebook.

calor gas is £35 for a refill in B&Q near me but that is for a 15kg bottle.

do these fit the standard 21mm calor gas regulator?

If you buy the regulator, will this work with a BBQ?

We use butane in our bbq, works just fine but in winter you may endup not being able to use it in cold temperature, the pressure on regulator is lower but the gas itself has more calories (power).

Indeed, Propane is patio gas...this isn't.

They are fine if no problem but the last bottle they sold to me wouldn't work with my fire, customer service was none existent. In the end I used a screwdriver to push the valve open (in a well ventilated garden) to let some pressure out, worked fine after that.
