£10 worth of points back with a £50 spend at Boots, on 27th October.
It mentions their c&c service, so presume that so long as you order on this date, you'll get your £10 of points and can collect on a day to suit you
Edit:
I've been instore today and spoken to a manager. What I was told is that you can order online from instore, if that makes sense? That covers the c&c orders.
Also worth mentioning that the item has to be in stock online when you order. Sounded obvious to me, but it was particularly mentioned to me.
So, the way it sounds to me... You go instore, on the day, buy what you need. ( OK, needis a bit strong, ha) , If it's not in that store, place order with team member, to collect from store at a date when it arrives. So long as ordered on the right date, you'll get the bonus points
Sounds like a deal
*The amount is £60 when spending online, to get the £10 worth of points . Thanks rtkumar1980

It is both in-store and online. For instore you need to spend 50 pound for 10 pound worth of points and for online you need to spend 60 pound for same 10 pound worth of points. http://www.boots.com/en/In-store-events_1339426/

Anyone know how the 3 for 2 works instore with six items?
Is it the cheapest two items of the six or the cheapest of each three items?
Hope this makes sense, thankyou in advance xx

cheapest 2. might be worth going thru the till twice and bunching the 3 highest priced items together

It is cheapest each of three items. I think it may be based on the order in which u scan the items. So as long as you scan the three items together you should be fine. I used self checkout to buy 18£* 3 items plus 5£ * 3 items in a single transaction and i was charged 46£ (18*2 plus 5*2)

I have a few points offers etc loaded to my advantage card via the app, would this affect me getting the points on the day? Or would this offer 'over take' any others?

Good question.not one I can definitely answer, except to say, that seeing as Boots are in the business of getting people to load offers onto their advantage cards, their system must recognise it- otherwise there'd be uproar. If it helps, I do recall (was around 2 years ago) that I happened to be shopping in boots when this offer was on, without my boots card, and I was able to get the points added on later, with the receipt. If you did that, you'd be definitely sure. However, whenever I've rang their c/s, they answer quickly and seem knowledgeable, so either/or

Many retailers do but I work for Boots as a manager and this isn't how it works. If you bought 6 items (3 @ £50 and 3 @ £40) you would get 1 at each price free.

I'd bow to anyone on here who knows better than I do, and I've only spoken to the one store manager, but I was told the c&c order had to be made instore?
I'd say, to be safe, try online c &c order early in the day, first thing. If points don't get added at transaction, but DO get added if you up your order to £60, as mentioned by another poster, even though you are nominating a c&c store, that then gives you the opportunity to call instore, order your items

FYI
Its £10 worth of points for every £50 spent so if you spend £150 you get £30 worth of points.
Other points vouchers (such as double points) are invalid on that day so don't use them as they may scan through but not apply to your account.

When retailers do 3 for 2 you always have to do 6 or 9 items as 2 or 3 separate orders to get the maximum discount. That's online and in the shop.
You can lose quite a lot if your buying 3 x £50 items and 3 x £20 items, 2 of the £20 items would be put through a zero.

its inside the actual voucher book. 500 back when you spend 50 poind in vouchers. They will accept it at the till at the same time as the points events on. I spend a fortune in boots at xmas so I go through the tills a few times spending 50 pound a time, getting the 15 pound in points back each time. Eventually I always have enough to buy a present with points.

Looking at the Xmas gift guide they say they automatically order it from highest to lowest and give you every 3rd free. Not sure if same online.
vicstar115
22 Oct 161#26
No, they changed that at least a year ago. It's every 3rd item in the 3 for 2 that is free, they even set up a special section online for it as I remember changing my basket around so the highest 3 priced items went to the top. They did a big announcement about how it was making it easier for customers to shop. Double check in store but I'm 99% sure on this
