I ordered one of these yesterday and picked it up today. It's not an old black model, it's the new white Xbox One S with a FIFA 17 download code and a physical copy of Forza Horizon 3.

I definitely chose bnpl, no question. i have had phone conversations with them and even written letters, got nowhere. they are a disgrace and I'll never purchase from them ever again

I believe so but i think it was only asking me to pay the £3.99 postage fee, nothing towards the actual console.

I think even if you don't add it to BNPL it doesn't ask for instant payment it just deducts it from your credit limit and then expects you to pay within the first month? but im not entirely sure how it works as everything i've ever purchased from Very has always been on BNPL 6,9 or 12 months

Danny, I did choose BNPL and paid nothing at checkout. However I was duped into making a part payment by their statement email requesting money.

I feel the people who have had issues with this offer possibly missed the option to add it to BNPL, when adding something to your account, on the address page i believe, there is a drop down option to select and add it to BNPL otherwise you just buy it as normal, i was successful with this offer and don't have to pay for my xbox one until the end of this year

I ordered on 28th oct.
it seems they emailed me on the 23rd Nov saying payment due.
so 25th it seems like i went to site paid first £100 (chosing take 3 payments (so 3x £100). thinking that was still classed as BNPL.

now they've just said it wasn't BNPL,

Yes, still waiting for my credit. Have phoned them and been on chat. Told I'am getting it but have to wait for the department dealing with this (who ever they are) to contact me. Since phone call I have been on live chat.
And they've basically said that the information has been forwarded to the relevant department and that they will be in touch in the next few days. They said to keep checking my account and IF its not sorted in the next 3-5 days to go back on live chat.

They started saying that to me too- about the credit being applied to next month's statement - but the deal said credit by 15-11-16 and when i challenged CS about that she then said the next month credits referred to current xbox /ps4 deals. Hence her advice was useless reg our deal and that's when she figured out i wasnt on BNPL! Useless.

Just phoned regarding this offer as NOT had my credit. I had to return the first one I got sent as faulty.
And /had to reorder and get a price match as price had gone up, that went smoothly. But not so with the credit.
After speaking too 2 customer service people was told the CODE has been activated against my account and it WILL show on next statement. They haven't tried to say that I didn't order via BNPL (have proof for both orders that it was)
but they did ask for a code, which I said that I didn't have one but DO have screen shots of the offer. But I will be back on the phone tomorrow if its NOT on account by morning. As showing 6 days left to return. If its NOT sorted by Monday its going back.

Yep everything, you send a complete bundle back, they send a new complete bundle. Call MS, get a reference and then call very, they will arrange for a collection of your old one and then order a new bundle. MS will repair for you but it takes 14-21 days, or they will replace the console for you but they ask for a £400 holding fee on your card until they receive your old one back. Or you can just return, cut your losses and buy elsewhere.

Got mine yesterday. Noisy fan :-( its not overly loud but for 200+ im going to be picky. spent half the day on the phone to very trying to get it replaced. Useless customer service, they expect me to wait in all day tomorrow for the old one to be collected but cant guarantee my other before tuesday. on the plus side though new fifa code.

Their CS is mostly abroad (sounds like India) and they have very little idea of what's going on.

I ended up going through online chat (as it's a record I can keep).

Having spoken to UK staff via their creditors dept, I can confirm that the deal is valid to anyone bnuying within the advertised timeframe on BNPL, It's automatic, and if it doesn't work then you can call them and have them manually raise the refund once the date has passed.

Keep screenshots, sure, but it'll be fine. And yes, you can pay off a chunk now and leave at least £50 to be cleared later.

FYI - THEIR CS TEAM ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE PROMOTIONS TEAM IN THE UK. They simply read what it says on the website and try and interpret it.

Yeah it's a common issue, it's a bit lucky dip to whether you'll get one with or without it seems. It's obvious if your Xbox one s has it as soon as you turn it on. There's examples on YouTube of what it sounds like.

Another member mentioned he had a similar deal with Very Credit and it was in his account the day they advertised. If its not there on that date, then you can worked up and start emailing etc.

Yes it updated all the tracking information. Only delivered a day after they promised (which was an impossible promise anyway). I would say as long as you order the one linked to the deal which they don't know which Xbox it is then you should be fine. They will just see the product number matches the one in the deal and pay the £50 regardless of what is delivered.

Just screen shot the pages with the deal banner and the item then the main item page that shows the gaming deal link above the picture and anything else that relates to the deal and you should be fine.

When you go on the home page of Very, it will have a big banner which changes every so many seconds, you can also click the arrows or slide to the next image/offer depending if your on a laptop, tablet or mobile.

Anyway scroll or wait for the image to come on that say "Gaming Event", think it's the third one then click the image and it will take you to a page with two deals, one is the Xbox One talked about here and the other is a PS4 Slim something or other!

The image also gives you a link to the terms of the cash back which explains what to do.

first order has to be delivered to home address, I did my first order whilst overseas and requested it be delivered to my fathers, their security team are intense they had logged the IP then wanted to know ages DOB and names of people on the electoral roll at both addresses and even then they said first order could only be delivered to billing address

when i applied for credit account - its then not offering me click and collect

There is two listed on the site one was on offer earlier in the week with no Forza included I think. That's why asked when it was ordered and the item number. I think this deal only went live around Friday ish.

I think the replies from TheCrackInTime is enough, he/she ordered and collected the next day and confirmed the item number to be the same listing the OP has listed.

So from the beginning;

Add to basket > Go to basket > Continue securely > Choose delivery address + continue > on the payment screen you should see a drop down menu which says '12 MONTH BNPL' and a button next to it which says 'add to order and once you've clicked that it should say '12 months Buy Now Pay Later added to all eligible items' in green.

Once you've done this you may then add the item to your account without being expected to pay for it imediately and to also qualify for the £50 credit back to your account (essentially dropping the price by £50)

I ordered one of these yesterday and picked it up today. It's not an old black model, it's the new white Xbox One S with a FIFA 17 download code and a physical copy of Forza Horizon 3.

I'm under the impression it's the new generation, pricing and current bundles etc all make me think it's the new one.

Cancelled it because not a single advisor over the phone or livechat gave me a straight answer when I gave them the order number they couldnt tell me what I ordered one advisor said they couldnt even find it. Due to how poor the service has been for the last 4 hours I figured I would rather not deal with them as I am sure the next bother will be the 50 discount not being added or wrong console being sent. I am sure you will get the right one as it seems to be sorted now but I know why a lot of people bad mouth very. Even just looking at there twitter and facebook shows just how bad they are.

I would say the drop down menu in the listing is more important part and would be the first thing they do when creating the listing so you would think this be correct. It's also the hardest part, so let's say they have started this product listing and they would have the ability to copy (like sell similar in eBay) a listing they are more likely to forget to change the product info than the attributes (drop down menu). That's my opinion of the software I have used in the past.

Problem is no matter what I put into the system I got the same order number which didnt include what I had chosen.

Thinking about the black listed in the colour, when I was on live chat she said to me only the ones with the black box next to them are in the deal, could the colour black be a secret code? Or am I going over the top with this haha!

This will add up, I've done some web design and worked on a few Epos systems and they have to set attributes for the listings and you only get out of the system what you put into it. Just got off the phone with an advisor who said that's it's the Xbox One S and the 'Black' is due to the Forza box being set to the colour black. He seemed pretty sure... I guess we'll see what turns up Wednesday!

When using the options I selected the white xbox one S with fifa forza and the extra pad. But when showing as ordered it shows as the xbox one black with fifa and forza with pad. I called them and they said I had ordered the xbox one black with everything including xbox live.
But this wasnt the case as I cancelled the order and tried again the item number changed but defaulted once it was in the basket.

What did you order then because mine says KHT7T which is slightly different to yours although the description is the same.

Another thing here which might explain why they don't know much, the order states "Order received by our supplier" which indicates they are not holding the stock. I still think there's a good chance it's a Xbox One S, after all it's against a new PS4 Slim, it's like they have done a deal with a supplier at a discounted rate and passing the deal on to get the orders. I could be wrong but why would they have one PS4 Slim and one old black Xbox? It doesn't add up and I don't think Very are silly enough to do that. I think here there's been some copy and paste of a similar listed item and they have edited the attributes and photos then gone on dinner, come back and set it live without continuing the info box, title and what actually shows on your account.

What's hard for me is the only people that will know what we have actually bought is the department that did the product listing and the supplier who will be sending it out.

It's hilarious, something like this should be an easy answer, not having to phone premium numbers to find out what it is they're trying to sell us

I use Very quite often but this offer seemed too good to be true

The advisor said its the black one as it defaults to it on the system I said I wanted it cancelling and my account closing I had then been on hold for an hour (realising it was an 0844 number and I was calling by mobile) The manager said she cant get her system to process the correct one and that it was defaulting to the black model everytime. I cancelled it early on but have been told I have to wait a few days for my account to be closed even after waiting over an hour to get it sorted.

I'm thinking the same, the customer service people will probably know as much as we do as they'll probably just be able to access the same descriptions that we can, it seems their web department are lazy and copy and paste a lot of stuff for new items with no proof readers, ive still got one on order but it gets ever so tempting to cancel

Even though I already called once he then suggested a call back but then told me to call. I did understand but it wasn't clear whether that £50 credit was able to be used against the outstanding cost of the console. Even in the terms and conditions of the website, it wasn't remotely clear.

I actually got in touch with Very and you are quite right, to be fair to you, so hands up from me. It's was a bloomin' complex process to clarify, but we got there in the end.

Too late now for me lol, I've just give them £300 of my money to clear some off a different bnpl so I could make room for this order and play the long game for the bonus £50. In the end after selling the games and getting the cash back it would be £170 for the console which is where I was aiming for. If this falls through Its not the end of the world for me, it just means I've paid some of my 12 month bnpl early haha.

Need cod bundles for xbox.

The thing that gets me, is obviously they have the Xbox One S with fifa 17 bundle for £249.99 on it's own, so I'm thinking surely they wouldn't have another bundle with an extra brand new game in Forza Horizon 3 for £229.99. Part of me wants to reorder it again knowing it can be returned as long as it's not unopened but its more hassle having to send it back and have the credit returned to the account

I had ordered this before seeing this thread (have now cancelled), the whole page is messed up with contradicting information its unbelievable. Product title suggests the old xbox, the drop-down menu and pictures suggest the Xbox one S, the product description says that kinect is sold seperately, but in technical information it states it is boxed with a kinect and includes forza motersport 5 in the bundle?

So it's either an old forza 5 bundle with fifa 17 physical disk, or its the new fifa 17 bundle with a physical forza horizon 3 disk, and to think someone got paid to publish this page

The order listing refers to the Xbox One S but the actual Technical description, with Fonza, is Xbox One. The others, with white box, clearly show the One S is the technical description "-and watch UHD Blu-ray movies" - but lack Fonza. My "live" chat resulted in the matter being referred for consideration. As this is a "no returns" item it is rather risky.

I ordered the Xbox one bundle when I got the email from very and it arrived Friday it was the FIFA 17 bundle and it was the new Xbox one s. I screenshot the email they sent me in case they don't refund the £50 by the 8th Nov

I ordered by Collect+ from them on fifa 17, They said it would be delivered by 29th and it was on the tracker, I went to the shop to pick it up after phoning very to get pick up code they never sent.....

The shop then said they do not do Collect+ anymore and stopped doing it weeks ago, even tho some one at the shop signed for the item that got delivered!!! That item has now gone missing, so looks like shop guy has taken it and has denied they have received it, and I still have no fifa, and they are looking into it 2 days after the game come out.... I had a massive argument with the shop keeper, it is only a small shop, the shop keeper even ripped my phone out my hand when I shown him the delivery....

Dreadful company to deal with. Arrogant and rude customer service, they cancel your order without notification after taking your money and will then only return it in 10 days. Avoid. Cold.

1) Title and product description say it's an XBox One, not an S (actually also says the wrong game, and that it's bundled with Kinect...)
2) A credit of £50 doesn't mean this item is £229.99.
3) If it's anything like the experiences with "very" often described on HUKD, they'll cancel the credit for no reason or something else silly.

I went for the £100 cash back deal on a iPad Pro, I got them on live chat and confirmed with screenshots so hopefully that should be enough for that one lol. Just wish the HDD was bigger on this although I do have a 2.5" 2TB

I think I'm going to go for this, sell the games for £60 brings this down to £170, not too far off the two Tesco ones I bought! I'm after a third one s for myself. With very you just need to screenshot all the pages and if there's any issues they can't riggle out of it.

There is, of course, nothing to stop you paying the balance off outright as soon as the £50 credit is made and then closing your account.

*Personally, I rather like Very as an option as they give 0% on almost everything (though they are normally very expensive you sometimes get the odd good deal).

Unless I'm getting this terribly wrong, it's not £229.00 if they credit your account with £50, as opposed to receiving it as cashback - It's really £279 plus a voucher.

I'm also uneasy about recommending a deal which will get some people into trouble, who won't have the funds to pay in a year's time.

Shouldn't this be listed as 279? For it to be 229 you need a credit account and the money is credited back to that account, in just over a months time, if you buy the item on bnpl. Or can we list TCB and quidco prices now too?
