Got overwatch through, no console or forza dosent make sense they both say out for delivery. I'll ring em tommorow see what crack is.

I got messed about collecting the console too.

Tracking showed delivered to another town, rang CS they said it was at the store ready to collect. Got to the store, they said it's not there, they looked several times and said deffo not there and rang CS from the store, who told them it was coming the next day.

I got all the way home again, and rang cs to kick off, and they said, it's at the store. I got them to ring the store again, and they then found it and confirmed it was there. So had to go all the way back again to get it.

Only problem we had was the console with click & collect, it was a day late. Has ended up being a great deal.

Lucky you, I got overwatch this morning.

Horizon has been delayed though, as the courier seems to have taken it 350 miles in the wrong direction

The console and overwatch have been dispatched and Forza has yet to be dispatched. I just says Friday the 30th as the ETA for the console.

Did you split your delivery? FIFA17's release date is apparently the 29th, FH3's is apparently the 27th. But I haven't ordered a multi game bundle there before so maybe that's not the cause and it is just a conservative estimate date.

How accurate are Tesco's Estimated Delivery dates?

Not sure why you say that, ive just managed to order it no problem for £239. At checkout though it said something like split order to receive items faster, which i did. I think it was forza horizon 3 not coming till 30th, where as console and overwatch coming for 27th.

They said you can decline it when it arrives but it's longer to process for a refund. or take it the nearest main store, as long as it's not an express or an extra store.

I spoke to Tesco this morning about the possibility of bringing this back e.g. substituting overwatch for another game, but felt like I was hitting a brick wall as they just kept giving the old company line "we can't honour offers not in stock" well duh! if you switched Overwatch out for something you have plenty of it would be in stock! Can't see why they don't do this, could shift loads more as people are going mad for this deal!

Also pulled them up for still advertising the bundle despite it being impossible to order - false advertising and very disappointing for anyone coming across it....

You don't have to stop at 2TB, I have a 3TB hooked up to mine (and it's already over half full thanks to all the GWG and backwards compatible games), there is no limit on size I'm aware of though granted 2TB will be plenty for most...

Gumtree, looking at around £130-£140 (at least with no ebay 10% commission costs!) for console, controller and maybe a couple of older worthless games.

Opted to stick with the Fifa 17 bundle from Amazon. Not had an Xbox since owning a 360 many years ago and I've now got a 4K TV so thought I'd see what's changed!

Figured if I wasn't happy, it's a very simple returns process with Amazon and from experience I get hassle-free refund pretty much immediately.

I've got a 500gb. Bought a 2tb external for £70 odd and I've been downloading literally everything free on gold for the last year or so and haven't filled it (you can always delete the stuff you don't play, and it stays on your account ready to redownload [digital])

I'm somewhat of a hoarder though. Imagine that halo is currently 70gb, destiny about the same, I think Fifa is ~20gb. So you're looking at a fair few games installed even on 500gb

I can get £110 for the old console (and keep the Kinect etc), so this may just have to be ordered...

Magnificent deal, little bit disappointed I ordered the standalone Xbox One S + FIFA 17 from Tesco now.

I have no reason to get rid of my OG Xbox One, but the fact that I have two of the 3 games on pre-order and really want the third one is making me extremely tempted.

I'm not sure I agree. If you sell the overwatch game for £30, Forza Horizons for £35, and Fifa code for £30, and the original console for around £120 (a fair price) thats £215. So being able to 'upgrade' from a 3year old console to a brand new S 4k ready console for just 50 quid sounds like a no brainer to me. :smiley:

Just to be a bit more clear on top of some of the other answers (which are right too), Forza Motorsport 6 was released September 2015 (so he probably did have that) and is a fairly serious racer focused on tracks and realism.

Forza Horizon 3 (here) is a brand new game (27th September 2016) in the Horizon series, which provides more of a blockbuster style of racing with helicopter chases and beach races and much more. Don't let that put you off, it's very well received so far with an average rating of 91/100 across 54 professional critics. http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-one/forza-horizon-3

Although I can only guess and your son may prefer the more realistic Forza Motorsport games, every Forza fan should at least try Horizon, and this looks like a great one - so I think it's safe to say you can't go wrong with getting this.
(Buying an Xbox One S if he already has a working Xbox One, though, is not as easy to recommend...)
p.s. a word of warning, there are also paid extras such as VIP membership and Car Pass, so beware if he might ask for those later!

Been debating this all morning, £40 extra for Overwatch and Forza is a bargain, but I doubt I'd play them, not my kind of games (neither is Fifa but that's already sold to a friend).
