I've always been tempted to get the back cover for my S5 to make it wireless charging compatible, but can't really see the point (for myself anyway) as I normally turn the charger off at the wall next to my bed when not in use and only plug it it at night and then unplug it in the morning.

I could see more sense for myself having one built into the car holder as sometimes I'm in and out the car nearly 10 times a day for work and would save a little more hassle.

Still hot for people that have a compatible phone and maybe have it on their desk at work where you normally have to plug it in a few times a day.

Dont see point in these. If to get rid of unsightly cable then the charger needs one. If for portability away from plug socket the charger needs one. Only advantage the 1 second saved to plug in the cable or unplug it from your phone?

Also, it's not so much about wasting/reclaiming precious seconds, for me it's worth it, especially at this price as it reduces the likelihood of wear and tear on the charging socket itself. Worth the money in the long run if/when you want to move the phone on/upgrade and companies look for the tiniest of marks to reduce giving you money for it.

I've got usb sockets and a short lead that doesn't reach the worktop. When my S6 is plugged in it sits upside down on its end facing out and takes no room at all. Perfect.

The wireless charger is always in the way or in the wrong room and gets dirty.

I would like confirmation if this does fast charge on Note 4, the 02 link does not seem to list compatible devices.

I'm sure note 4 doesn't have wireless charging out of the box. You'll need to buy the wireless charging backing plate if you wish to use a wireless charger.

My S7 works with a gel case on but I've found it's more fiddly finding the sweet spot to get it to charge with the case on.

To be fair there was some confusion as if it was genuinely O2 as the money was being paid to some random company which is not O2,but it turns out they sell on behalf of 02.I was concerned myself at first as they had other items for sale that were a bit random for O2.

Just took it out if the box and it doesnt charge my phone. The blue and green light blinks every now and then. Does this need to be charged itself fora while too?

Are you using a genuine samsung fast charge mains lead? If not you will need to buy a 2amp third party charger or a genuine samsung fast charge one. Ordinary leads do not draw enough power.
