Had a similar one. Was decent. Battery lasts for months! Sound is a bit tinny. Worth the money though.

I had one of these, but it broke after a couple of months. I was gutted as it was lovely & loud for when I was shaving & showing with reasonably good sound for the price. might buy again, but not let it anywhere near water this time!

I've had one in my shower cubicle for months. Works very well, good loud sound and fast sync via Bluetooth. I play the radio through it mostly. ...and mine gets covered in water!

I have one I bought in Lidl last year still going well, have it in my bathroom, need to charge it about once a month. very tempted to buy another :-)

The speaker on my phone is probably better than this - phone is not waterproof though, so I'll give it that one.

Only let down for me is the charging cable, I already have a similar one but it uses a micro USB to charge and I have them all over the place. Would bug me having to keep a specific cable just for this, but thats just me.

I remember a time when EVERYONE was adamant that an Ericsson Charger (pre-SonyEricsson days) SHOULD be an Ericsson Charger!.
And a Nokia Charger (pre-Microsoft days) SHOULD also be a Nokia Charger!.
And pre-2005 Samsung Charger (you guessed it!) SHOULD be .....
Now no one can be bothered again for such frivolities?.

what's the range like?, I have a BT speaker, but it needs to be within clear site of the phone, so might as well be using the phone's speaker. if this can work from another room it may be an option.

Have a similar one (usb charger) and the I have my phone 5 meters+ away , through 2 walls and it's fine

These are great. Just make sure the charging port is on the bottom of the unit when you're showering otherwise the water gets in the hole and kills it.
Sound a bit tinny but it's fine for the money. You can also change tracks and answer the phone in the shower on mine haha.
