Went into Asda looking for the ZTE Blade posted earlier. No joy with that but noticed 3, now 2, Vodafone Smart Ultra 6's reduced to £54.50. Bought the exact phone for my wife 10 months ago for more than double and it's an excellent phone.
Most likely store specific but 2 more people could get a nice bargain.

@rebtherebel if your Smart Ultra 6 is developing blotches, send it to Vodafone for repair before the warranty runs out. Mine had the same, the the back button started acting up. It's a know issue on a batch of SU6. Just bring it into a vodafone store they do it for free. Mine took 2 weeks to repair, they replaced the screen, it is like new. discussion about SU6 screen delamination

It works but mine didn't like the augmented option and turned off camera before it would work. No gyroscope also means no vr. But I still love mine for the money .

Called and checked few stores (Basingstoke, Slough, Hounslow) they did not have stock but the price they told is £89.99 Not £54.50. May be just at Stafford. Online it does not show up with the price. Says out of stock.

Great phone. Mine has developed tiny blotches around the outer side of the screen now you can see in certain lights, but still works perfectly.

If it has "developed tiny blotches" then I would argue that it's not a "great phone"

Known fault. If your SU6 is still under warranty then send in for replacement or refund. That's the digitizer delaminating away from the LCD due to heat. See more info in this tread.
Great phone otherwise.

I believe this is just a zte blade s6 with a bigger screen, excellent phone if that's the case the wife's had a blade for over a year and it's been fine. paid £170 at the time so this is awesome if you can actually get it at the price
Have heat  - I have one of these , it's been great ... just get a decent cover for it

Yeah, but that's more to do with the fact of what the thing has been through for the last 14 months. It's not been treated like an expensive phone, put it that way. If it was, the screen would have broken by now. The tiny blotches, are a testament to the survival abilities of the thing.

its a really good phone , easy unlock, on my second in 14 months . first one packed up and overheated. had a few issues . it struggles to hold a signal in a poor signal area . a lot worse than other people on same network . but its fine elsewhere

Me and my gf have both got one, pound for pound the best phone i've ever used!camera is great apart from low light,it's still not awful in low light, but the flash gives a very natural look,my sons s7 edge is infinitely superior in low light, but indoor flash pictures shockingly don't look as natural!it still runs as fast as it did when new 9 months ago☺☺ it's shocking to think it only cost a sixth of the s7 edge,it obviously doesn't have the premiere feel, but put add a case and that's remedied, great battery aswell!only £1.70 to unlock on ebay, woould happily buy it again.

I also had the screen issue, the phone became unusable. I took it to Vodafone shops who refused to help. Thankfully I had bought it from amazon who were brilliant. no quibbles full refund after 11 months!
Worth a punt at £54 but I wouldn't buy at £89 now - there are better alternatives

Buttons on mine became unresponsive, vodafone repaired, same thing, so sent back, another fortnight and it still had same issue. Don't think they even bothered looking at it. Its a great phone, just don't expect any kind of service from vodafone. I had to battle to get it looked at in the first place as I used a Three sim, and tw*ts at Derby store weren't interested.

Asda Corby had one left in the cupboard - nothing on display so had to ask.
She took it to the self serve and it scanned at £112.50
That'll be a no then.
Wouldn't/couldn't do anything.
Some member of staff will be having that then if it gets discounted :disappointed:

Awful phone for me, not even worth £50 I'm afraid. Really laggy, then developed a screen fault, then died when only 6 months old. Mate had one as well and he also had loads of problems with his. Wish I hadn't got rid of my nexus 5.

I've got to agree with this, I found it laggy with a pretty nasty washed out screen it wasnt particularly responsive either, the only thing i loved about it was the nice untouched version of android it ran. However for £54 its a bargain at £99 I felt ripped off (used it for 9 months before getting a full refund from Asda thankfully so no harm done)
