These are usually £1.50 each in Sainsbury's (Not sure if it's national, this was in the Rugby branch). They were 75p each a couple of days ago. Went again this morning they were down to 50p each.

Yes, there is 11.5g of sugar per bottle. After a workout is a good time to take in simple carbs: as it starts the whole recovery/muscle growth process. Following a hard workout, your body is severely depleted of glycogen and glucose.

A little bit of broscience in this, but sugar in moderation is nothing to be scared of, just factored in to your daily dietary requirements, of which everyone is slightly different.
Good price for a very convenient product that doesn't taste awful.

It does however contain sucralose, which is not quite so good for you (even if it's in small doses), which is probably where it gets the sweet taste from.
