I sent a PM asking people to make sure their email addresses registered with HUKD were correct, as we didn't want to send out vouchers to a dead address. We've given everyone involved quite a while to make sure this is ok before we send out the vouchers (which admin will be doing).

As once the vouchers are sent, if you've given us the wrong address, the vouchers cannot be recalled.

Great game! I've got 6 numbers so far of the first lot. Some of them are quite tough

[SIZE=2]MikeT is a moderator also... The 10 flaming numbers you need to find by answering the clues, are posted randomly in members posts as replies. The remaining 10 have all been posted in replies during this month, no more are being posted.[/SIZE]

I'm still stuck on two. I seem to recall at one stage it was posted that not more than one flaming number would be posted each day... I can't seem to find it now so guessing that doesn't apply.

Also is there anyway of finding out who the mods are. I know there is Rayman, Emma, Edi, Fordy, Millarcat and admin (I guess duckmagic is another one) are they the only ones who can post the flaming numbers. I'm getting stressed now as I'm running out of time.

Re: How it works...

First set of clues when solved, will give you a "search" word. If you use the search facility for that word, a few threads will show up. Go through those to find the flaming numbers which you then convert to a letter [1=A 2=B 3=C 4=D 5=E and so on]. Remember to keep the link to that particular thread with the letter and in the right order by date [that will give you the first part of the phrase].

The second set of flaming numbers have been posted in threads during September only and in real time. You'll only need to search backwards from yesterday's threads, find the numbers, convert them to letters for the rest of the phrase and save the thread links in order.

PM your phrase answer and links once only, so make sure you are satisfied your answer is correct before doing so...

Just need to find the answer to clue 8 in the first lot of 10 clues then onto finding the second lot of flaming numbers........a cuppa and 2 Paracetamol first I think.

I am now on page 13 of hot deals (14th last post date) so i read about half a months worth, but I havn't found any in ages now so losing faith hehe, gonna keep plugging away though otherwise i have just wasted what i have got so far :smile:

All I can suggest is that you search through threads again... Yes it's a lot of time, but to be in with a chance of the big prize, go for it... The fewer people that find them, the more chance those who do find them have :w00t:

i tried word, i have the old xp version which came out about 2000 i think so perhaps why i havnt been able to find anything from words outcomes. ill just have to keep trying

I hope this doesnt infringe on the rules! A good tip for finding another word for something is to go into Microsoft Word and use the thesaurus (Shift + F7). The other posts have definitely been made, there are no real clues as to how to find them other than carefully check each post. Unfortunately there is no pattern!

Happy birthday! Long term lurker signing up for this treasure hunt...doing well with the first part but honestly can't see how anyone will be able to find all the numbers in the second part. There are so many posts each day to look through.......still it's all good fun.

Yes, please make sure you read all the rules above before sending in your clues [at the end of the month]. As there are conditions that need to be adhered too, such as the flaming numbers links being included with your PM and completed phrase...

That was fun right up until I was about to post here and noticed Zer0s post and then had to go back and find them all again. Much easier the second time round though.

Just seen this: You must include the 20 links where you found the flaming numbers in your PM as well.

The 20 letters will spell out a phrase eventually, so don't worry about it too much until we start to post the next flaming numbers. You should see some within a few days... :smiley:

I also have 9/10 of the letters, cannot find the 5th one, i think i've got the clue right but anyhow, the word so far doesn't seem to spell anything I recognise so maybe I need the letters from the second part??

@ Zoidy - the first 10 letters should be placed in order of the Cyrptic Clues, 1-10. The second 10 will then be in the order of posting date.

The second part of it sounds much harder than the first. at least on the first half we have clues where to find the numbers. The second half means a lot more searching, also if you miss one it will throw you completely. I have 9 out of 10 of the first ones at the moment. Just the one to find now.
