Meh. Last time I took the family on the London Eye you could barely see the view for all the Coca-Cola advertising. Total rip off since Merlin Entertainments realised it's potential as a cash cow.

Another alternative is to avoid London altogether and go for a walk in the countryside and up a big hill. Nicer view. Well, normally.
Added bonus of not having to breath the polluted London air. :smiley: Always taken a back when I go to London at how polluted it is. I live on the edge of a medium size UK city and it's really noticable how polluted parts of London are compared to it. Let a lone the countryside. I think a lot of Londoners are so used to it, they barely notice.

Interesting Story here...
I was very lucky the other day, I wanted to go on the Brighton i360, but was told I had to wait for the next 'flight' as the one I wanted to go on was booked for a private corporate event.
This was the one that eventually took over two hours as it got stuck. I had a good laugh after twenty minutes watching the folk on board, as did many others of us waiting and on board, but pretty concerning when they were stuck for two hours.
Would have driving me nuts I reckon
The folk running it didn't know what was going on, a proper shambles.
