Meh. Last time I took the family on the London Eye you could barely see the view for all the Coca-Cola advertising. Total rip off since Merlin Entertainments realised it's potential as a cash cow.
I have vague memories of paying less than a tenner when it opened in 2000.

Something stupid? They hacked the phone of a dead child making her parents think she was still alive. They played a big part in the injustice of Hillsborough and inflicted pain on all those poor families. Decades ago maybe, but what's worse is they still employ Rebecca Brooks and Kelvin McKenzie, the two people who were implicit in both of those incidents. Morons like you pay their wages. As long as it isn't your family eh? #happydays

with due respect to sentiments of people against sun (the newspaper, not the star)
To understand the deal, buy sun every day for 10 days to collect 10 tokens - this costs £6 (£0.5*8+£1*2) for 2 to ride London eye.
Can I use tokens multiple times to get 4 tickets?

So for a family of 3 I suppose it's 6.40 for the newspaper + 9.50 for an additional ticket - that's 15.90 in total, is that right?

Another alternative is to avoid London altogether and go for a walk in the countryside and up a big hill. Nicer view. Well, normally.

Added bonus of not having to breath the polluted London air. Always taken a back when I go to London at how polluted it is. I live on the edge of a medium size UK city and it's really noticable how polluted parts of London are compared to it. Let a lone the countryside. I think a lot of Londoners are so used to it, they barely notice.

Sadly this is no laughing matter.

Never a newspaper's fault. One should wait and read evidence based statements. In any event, only fools believe all the headlines in the Sun, I have always known it from Page 3 and its comical value plus promotional vouchers. That's how it was and always will be. It appeals to a group of people who would never read FT from page 1 to page 50.

Interesting Story here...
I was very lucky the other day, I wanted to go on the Brighton i360, but was told I had to wait for the next 'flight' as the one I wanted to go on was booked for a private corporate event.
This was the one that eventually took over two hours as it got stuck. I had a good laugh after twenty minutes watching the folk on board, as did many others of us waiting and on board, but pretty concerning when they were stuck for two hours.
Would have driving me nuts I reckon
The folk running it didn't know what was going on, a proper shambles.

I hope your capsules don't breakdown folks. Peace Be with you.
