I had these, they were nice, they were from Asda though not Aldi - £3.50 not £2.99 but might help those without an Aldi nearby?!
Personally I don't think you can beat good quality Aberdeen Angus!

They are nice, but the deal is becoming as regular as an M&S Dine in for £10 deal! I believe the wagyu beef is from New Zealand not Japan, hence the price.:man:

Haha! A few times! These are good, but Aberdeen Angus is better IMO - you could say the same for more expensive cuts of beef... sometimes you can't beat a Sirloin for example!

I only hope fat content is not 25%

I think they are the worst burgers I've tried

They are nice, but what makes them so moist is the high fat content. They do feel sickly, but nice for a one off when you want to indulge

hi all
I have tried all the wagu ranges (inc the steaks)from asda-aldi etc and the they are ok - I had a wagu steak when I was in Singapore (very expensive) but these are no way near the proper stuff

My sis is a bit of a foodie, regularly cooks from scratch and watches cookery programmes all the time - she didn't like these. Might pick some up tomorrow to see what they're like.

They are decent, quite fatty when cooked but that just make them juicy. It's not proper Japanese thoroughbred wagyu though, I think it's NZ beef from memory.

Dont see the fuss. Stick to basic supermarket ones at 50p each and slap some nice burger sauce on it. Another one of those heavily publicised non credentials claims that its the best burger out there. Now wheres my fish fingers that suddenly turned omega 3...

You can't beat home made beef burgers.
I bought the electric mincer that was in Lidl a few weeks ago and with some lean beef minced through it and some decent seasoning they are lovely , It's unlikely I'll ever eat shop bought again.
Plus you don't get all that fat and crap in them like shop bought!
Just enjoying the clarification of the word 'two' (2). Tricky stuff.

Given the level of stupidity on display at times on HUKD, best to be very clear.

Don't believe what people tell you until you try home made burgers yourself, a decent piece of beef has plenty of natural juice so it's not dry without adding all that fatty crap.

I've made plenty of burgers thanks and stand by my reasoning. Where does all this "natural juice" in your burger come from if not from fat?
