The Travelproof Worldwide 65 Travelsack is designed with the discerning and price conscious traveller in mind, combining great value with all the qualities and features of a more expensive travelsack. The Worldwide 65 is everything the world traveller could want in a bag. Its adaptable and versatile, smart, rugged and high performance.
The 55 litre main compartment is large enough to haul your core kit, with a bottom section divided off with a front zip, and there is a detachable 10 litre daybag for daily essentials. All zips are the 'kissing' type, so you can easily lock them (locks not included). Zips have generous covers to help keep some rain out, as will the water repellency of the fabric. For complete rain-proof peace of mind, we recommend a raincover.
The main comparment is front opening, which means you can open the bag like a suitcase and not have to reach down through all your belongings to find what you need. There's a very nifty feature, special to the Worldwide 65- a zipped inside pocket big enough to hold your dirty sandals or flip flops and keep them within easy reach. The bottom section is divided off, with easy front access, and is perfect for carrying your shoes/boots. Both sections of the main bag have compression straps. The back straps fit neatly away inside a zipped cover, and there are comfortable handles on the top and side and a shoulder strap, so you can pack away the backsystem and carry your travel sack by hand or on your shoulder when necessary.
The daybag is similarly feature packed; bungees on the front will hold a poncho or jacket, zippered compartments inside keep your daily essentials organised, side mesh pockets will hold bottles of water, there is even a key clip!
Features:
*Hideaway adjustable backsystem
*Lockable zips for security
*Detachable shoulder strap
*Internal utility/sandal pockets
*Versatile main bag with 2 seperate sections
*Compressions straps to hold everything in place
*Zip-off daybag
*Water repellent
*Zip covers
*Grab handles both on top and side
*Dimensions ex. day bag: 68cm H x 25cm D x 32cm W
*Weigh: approx. 1kg

I think they are implying it's perhaps not the bargain it seems as it's hardly a known brand. Amazon and eBay are full of these kind of things, inflated RRP but actually selling around this price point.

If that's the case then it's an idiotic throwaway comment based on zero research.
Travelproof may not be a well known brand, but they're well reviewed, quality items that rarely sell with discounts as big as this. I have a 40l rucksack by them and it's not comparable to cheap ebay tat - more akin to Craghoppers as mentioned by another poster.

Precisely. If it was Vango for £25, I'd be all over it.
I did research round the web and can find barely any reviews
You could help everyone out if you posted these reviews. Seems they are well hidden from google :smirk:
Without good unbiased reviews, my main observation of this bag is the lack of ventilation on the back. It's hard to tell from the photos, but this bag looks like it sits directly flat on your back, which will make you sweat like a pig. Which would make this an awful backpack.

Perhaps you should have made that point instead then, instead of some sarcastic comment about the brand just because you've never heard of them.
You say you can find "barely any reviews" but a simple google search for 'travelproof review' will show you plenty....perhaps not for this specific item, but your comment was about the brand, which is well established.
