Asda George have a small selection of toys inc Lego with upto 30% Off PLUS they have an offer of save 20% when you spend £50 on Toys, the offer includes over 2200 items inc their fab range of wooden toys + the ones that are already discounted.
The upto 30% section isn't huge but with the extra discount there are some real bargains to be found, ie LEGO Technic CLAAS XERION 5000 TRAC VC (42054) now £71.98, LEGO Technic - Bucket Wheel Excavator - 42055 now£119.98, LEGO Angry Birds - King Pig's Castle - 75826 now £46.38 which are all cheaper by quite a margin.
If nothing takes your fancy in that selection then 20% off £50 Spend at this time of year is brill, I love their Wooden Toy range & with the discount it makes the George Home Wooden Dolls House and Large Furniture Set (£70 if bought separately) just £52.
Other products that seem really great value include LEGO Star Wars - Millennium Falcon - 75105 for £76 + Sportspower 10 ft Quad Lok Trampoline with Easi Store Enclosure and Flash Zone for £78.15 Delivered.
Thanks, just bagged a Lego Technic Porsche for £196!

The space port doesn't seem to show up on their website
EDIT: Never mind, I searched via the Lego part number 60080 and then it came up. I think it's because I searched for 'Space port' instead of 'Spaceport'.

Hmmm guess so. It was £85 regularly last year. But £76 is a good price cheapest I think I've seen it. But it's not a rare set though was the second biggest selling set worldwide in 2015 which is amazing when you think of the price of it!

Whoops sorry yes Spaceport it is. Some of the sets do have funny names that don't turn up in searches. Such as the big plane that doesn't come up on a search for Lego Plane or similar as it is actually called Passenger Terminal, despite mainly being a plane!

Yet on another thread about the Dr Who set you said "Don't get too greedy just yet as LEGO are likely to reduce this by 50% as it's been a dreadful seller. Those that buy this for investment are going to be very disappointed."
So which one is the truth?

A few decent deals on here, but not enough to weaken my resolve. Yet.
The Volvo EW160E technic is a new set, £60 is higher than the going rate (£56) but 20% off. So £48 is decent under the circumstances (RRP is £70).
Wall-E below £30 is rare too.
Bought the space port last week in the Tesco deal, but annoyed to see it so cheap here but such is life!
Paid £89 for that last summer. 6 weeks later saw it for £50. It's a decent trampoline though.

No but, I live very close to a bridge! Since then I also bought a dozen Millennium Falcons just before they went out of stock. What is wrong with spending £4000 online and getting twice back just before Xmas? There are so many losers on here that haven't got the guts to take a chance! Send me an IM and I'll reply with the receipt if you don't believe me. I know about this deal before HKUD posted it so that I had time to fill my boots. There's another deal starting on Monday and I'm ready for that too!

Not only that, you risk items selling out while in your basket. They're not yours until you actually check out. If you see a good deal, check out asap!

2 Oct 16#47
Correct... I'll only sell to you lot of there's profit in it. That's the problem with HKUD as the greedy ones go in big before anybody else gets a look in. It's a perfectly legal way to make a living and I've not had to work at all this year. Before you ask... yes, I do declare sales to HMRC.

So how do you double your money?
These offers were not half price, probably 40% off on average. So double your money you have to sell at 120% of RRP (more to cover fees really) I can't see people paying you more than RRP especially when all these can be obtained below RRP already.
You also have eBay fees. So can't see the doubling of money. Unless you wait for all of these to become rare and sell for well above RRP (can see that happening but not all the time and certainly not frequently enough to justify you holding stock with cash tied up as well.
Just trying to see if your business model stacks up.
