You can play lone wolf but to be honest it isn't worth buying it just for that. there isn't a campaign so you will just be playing situations.
CS:GO Done right.
Probably the best multiplayer game i have purchased this year.

I own this digitally on PS4 but it suited the one more imo so I bought the hard copy on that and got the season pass... now my gf sold my Xbox game so I have no game and a season pass on one console and the game and no pass on the other.
It's a brilliant game, my goty for 2015 easy, tempted to buy it on PC as buying games for my new rig!

That's always the justification (read: excuse) given, but it's a poor one as it does impeded balance as it rewards those that grind away more so than just pure skill (esp given this is supposed to be a competitive game). Team composition gets significantly impacted if one side is limited as to what choices they can make because they haven't grinded or opened their wallet to unlock all the operators. Not to mention you can never trust a developer to not make the grind curve steep (just take a look at how bad/grindy street fighter V's fight money system is).
This is where games like CS:GO, Overwatch, DoTA2 and Rocket league feel far more balanced competitively. Everyone is given the same options which means the only real variables are within the player's control and does not reward those that just grind more e-coin or open up their wallet.

Eh CS:GO feels more balanced due to not having to grind to unlock gameplay features (i.e. operators). It's a solid game but having actual characters (heroes basically) being behind a pay/grindwall is kind of lame.

its actually only 500 to purchase the first operator from each group, then 1000, 1500 and 2000.
I agree that the starter pack is not the way to go for the few quid difference. Getting renown is a grind and unfortunately Ubisofts way of trying to flog everyone R6 coins to buy boosters. They can lick my rusty sheriff's badge if they think I'm buying into that mobile microtransacrion style crap.

This game is ok, but not great. I'm level 131.

I personally disagree. It's that game that keeps drawing me in, the one that's gripped me like no other since WaW. I play other games and think of nothing but Rainbow Six: Siege.
I need help :disappointed:

Considering that getting to level 131 takes a hell of a lot of time, then you are lying to yourself about how much you clearly enjoy this game.

Does anyone save any of their plays and upload them? It'd be cool to see HUKDers' clutches/aces/skill shots etc.

Better to get this deal instead. With the starter edition you have to have 12000 renown to unlock each operator. With this version its only 2000-4000 per operator

I think BlackSkyuk was joking, as a while ago there was a review for a game (I can't seem to recall the name right now) in which someone on Steam had played for hundreds of hours and then decided to leave a review with thumbs up while stating only "This game is ok".
I am probably mistaken here, but that's what this 'level 131' part felt like to me.

This is MP only right? Can you play alone or does it suck without friends? All my mates are on console!
