Basics kettles and toasters reduced to £3.50 at Sainsbury. They had loads in my local branch. Great for students or someone starting out.

Keep your receipts, did not buy a toaster but on my fourth kettle swop, they last me about 4-6 months and then stop working (for some reason), I then take it back to the store with my receipt and get a refund (do not accept a replacement) then buy another kettle and repeat.

Probably need to buy 2 then - It might be a few days before you can take it back and it would be very inconvenient to be without a kettle in this time!
