You get the "Left Behind" DLC and "Grounded" mode as part of the remaster and there's probably more people playing multiplayer on PS4 so I'd say yes.
Edit: now £12 on UK PSN if you have spare / cheap credit :wink:

Spec Ops isn't bad, Walking Dead is excellent, I still haven't seen anything beat what Naughty Dog can do in the story based genre, for example in UC4 they push the boundaries of what a PS4 can do graphically as well as meld an exceptionally good story based game with a variety of excellent levels and an exceptional level of detail.
I played UC4 before I played The Last of Us and I was underwhelmed and bored to start with but so glad I stuck with The Last of Us because it really is an exceptional game, it's just a shame that with the technical achievements and sheer level of detail in each Naughty Dog game that there's an inevitable long wait for the next story based game from them.
it was same price last year..I wonder why this game doesn't drop further?

Maybe you need to be into the TV Show but I thought Game of Thrones was poor - I didn't feel any attachment to any of the protagonists...
Tales From The Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us stand out for me with The Walking Dead a close 3rd.
Minecraft was a great money-maker for them so it was a great idea... for them... and even though it was for kids, they couldn't help themselves from killing the pig :stuck_out_tongue:
Batman isn't a bad idea tbh - any comic book is prime for TTG's art and storytelling style.

Telltale games have taken a bit of a nose dive for me over the last year or so. The Wolf Among us, Game of Thrones and season 1 of TWD had me hooked but they seem to be mainly focusing on the adolescent and iPad crowds these days.

I believe this is getting the PS Pro treatment and it will be one of the few games that will run on true 4K from the outset. I'd imagine if you own the game you'll just get the high res update and run it on PSPro.

Agreed. I bought a 2nd hand PS3 specially to play it because of all the fantastic reviews and was blown it away. Played it twice on PS3 (my son ended up with the 360) and when I upgraded to the PS4 the remaster was one of the first games I purchased.

It's a VERY different style of game, this was in response to the narrative comment. TLOU was well written but it wasn't in the league of TWD. What's "grounded"? Is that another way of saying "gritty and realistic" :smile:

Arguably. But this was specifically in reply to a comment about Naughty Dog being the pinnacle of story based gaming, not the game overall. As narratives SO:TL & TWD is far superior, (though you can argue the Heart of Darkness angle). TLOU had an exceptionally anti-climatic ending for me (no spoilers). Nods also for narrative to BioShock Infinite, tho slightly flawed by gameplay.

I played Last of Us and then Telltale's Walking Dead straight after. Last of Us is a million times better.
WD is cartoon-y and overdramatic at times. Whereas The Last of Us is so much more grounded. Not to mention the gameplay can get really tense on TLoU

This is technically against Sony's terms of service and can ban people for doing it, but they don't!
