The Last of Us is overwhelmingly critically acclaimed, and one of the most moving gaming experiences of the last ten years. No story spoilers here, please, but what really sells the game for me is the animation. Simply superb.
Left Behind is a piece of story DLC that is included in the Game of the Year Edition, or can be bought "Standalone". This is not like a preview or demo of the game - it really, really must be played after completing the main game.
I picked up Left Behind yesterday and just finished it a moment ago. If you just play it once, £3.29 is about £1/hour, I suppose, but I found it absolutely worth it.
Note that this is not a historical low, and you can find vanilla The Last of Us for US$10 for a US PSN account here and there, but £10 for TLoU and Left Behind together in the GotY Edition does seem to be the cheapest we've seen for a little while.

The DLC for this is magnificent! Well worth playing if you haven't got round to doing so. TLOU will forever be one of my favourite games, it's a masterpiece as far as I'm concerned!

Every gamer should play this, simple as that. Its an incredible game with such an amazing story line and the connection between the 2 main characters is the best and most emotional thing I've ever been made to feel in a video game.

Left Behind is DLC for The Last of Us, so it requires The Last of Us. (Oddly, the DLC isn't on sale this week.)
Left Behind Standalone is the same DLC, packaged so that doesn't require The Last of Us to run. It stands alone.
Useful for people like me who have The Last of Us on a US PSN account and have a few quid in a UK PSN account! :wink:

I'm not seeing a discount on Left Behind (PS3), it's showing as £7.99 for me on the UK store. Am I missing something here?
I'm pretty sure TLOU is a historical low for PlayStation Plus subscribers. It's £7.99, beating (iirc) it's previous best of £8.99.

I had to search back for it, but this was the deal I was thinking of. It's wedged firmly in my memory as it happened a couple of days before my PS3 arrived - and a couple of days after I'd bought vanilla TLoU for $10 elsewhere. :disappointed:
