They're shop-soiled.

There is some superficial damage to the box.

Rawlinson’s say you can have another fifty of the shop-soiled chocolate oranges if you plug them again tomorrow.

Above room-temperature it all congeals into one big dark-chocolate cricket ball. So, I’m afraid your consumer rights no longer apply. I mean, you could try Watchdog, but I think they’ve got bigger fish to fry

Have to agree with this, it's priced at £1 much more often than the ridiculous price of £2.49 in Asda.

They can indeed often be had for this price, and recently the bad people who make them started making them quite a lot smaller.

Finally does anyone ever pay full price for these?

Don't worry about that. They've all got superficial damage.

They used to be 175g until recently. All chocolate and confectionery is being reduced in weight but not price. Good deal though I guess..

That's what I'm saying :stuck_out_tongue: They're virtually always £1 in Asda, only occasionally £2.49 (probably for legal reasons so they can keep saying the £1 price is a promotion). This "deal" is just the normal price of these.

Good job folks, I only came here for the Partridge quotes. Glad to see all bases were covered! Saw these in Lidl yesterday, so still available, at least at my local one 'While stocks last' poster across them, but the display was full, didn't look in any danger of running out anytime soon.
