Seems to be a good price. I Don't know if it's a good grill but have been looking at this for a while and decided to give it a chance.

Good price, was £79.99 in argos a few weeks ago, now back to £99.99/109.99 (I forgot). Very good product and don't forget, this is the "plus" version (I'm actually unsure of the differences but I know there's an extra button for bacon).
Fab ! Just ordered .
I hv the other model without the Temp control button however it keeps changing to manual .
That will b going back as only purchased it 3 months ago . Was waiting for a good deal before it went back. Paid £99 for the older model !

We bought one of these on the Tefal Outlet deal a while back for £40. I was optimistic at the time about using it in a variety of ways, but in the end we just use it for toasted sandwiches. I think that the main drawback is the grill size is pretty small for a family of four with two teenaged lads. The automatic setting also seriously overcooks chicken, so it comes out tough and dry.
Does make GREAT toasted sandwiches!

Really good, however mine developed a fault whereby it keeps switching to manual. Don't know if this is the same version or not.

it is quite good at cooking steak but does tend to overcook other meat but it's fine as long as you keep your eye on it. I still struggle getting plates clean even though they are removable. I have had mine a while and use it normally a few times a week so has been a good buy.

I've had mine for over 2 years, the plates still look perfect and I use a dish brush to clean them after letting them soak for a few minutes, they clean up easy. Remember to rub the plates with a little bit of oil now and again.

With all those fancy healthy cooking appliances we buy, why is Britain on of the fattest nations one this planet?

I've had loads of grills and this is by far the best. We use it weekly for salmon, meats, steak. Cooked a couple of steaks on it last night and they were perfect. It is highly, highly recommended (had mine 2 years). Mine is pretty big- not sure if this is same size- think mine was about £120 but that was a couple of years ago.
If you like your steak watch Steak Revolution on Netflix- gives you the history of how the modern steak came into being and goes to the best steakhouses in the world- really, really good film. When the chefs are cooking the steak in the studio, you will notice they are doing it on one of these grills.

Three friends and I have all had and sent these back as in every case, they all defaulted to manual cook within a month or so of owning it. Also, I didn't find it that great and felt it over-cooked most things.
