I have a thing called a 'pan' which I put all the soup ingredients & stock into before placing it on the hob. Once cooked I either serve it or use the blender to liquidise it! I wonder if this gadget is capable of sieving/ straining a soup.
If you need a gadget to cook soup then I suggest you buy a can opener !

Is it easy to clean? The most difficult thing with all these new electric gadgets is cleaning after use. As electric items cannot be immersed in water.

Crap 1.2L capacity so barely worth the bother of getting it dirty for such a small amount of soup. i usually end up with near on 2L when i make a batch in the pressure cooker.

not at all I'm afraid. it's like a kettle with a built in blender.its quick but doesn't give time for the flavours to develop.base inside burns easily too.i gave it away and then they gave it away to the dustbin !

Got something similar, but used it once and it gathered dust, so gave it away to my sister who uses it all the time. It great and simple to use, but as has already been said it not the biggest for making large batches of soup.

Original comment's bang on.
I'm surprised it's not been branded by Apple considering it does nothing extra for significantly more money........
