No need for that type of discrimination, but to be fair, I think the poster was referring to the spelling/grammar mistakes in the instructions/specifications of cheaper Chinese branded goods.

I have a T95m which is one of the better Android devices i have used. The Homescreen and launcher are functional, they have taken the time to configure Kodi with the TVMC custom version, also the best remote control i have used so far. I only used t for 5 mins to test as i have a bluetooth keyboard but... Yo would hope the T95Z would be a natural progression.

I initially thought so too, but as bharats says it's not an RGB light array. Plus the actual product will probably look naff compared to the renders.
The honeycomb cover is going to be a dust trap, plus the unusual shape could make the connection ports a weak point. Would be interesting to see the PCB design.

hey guys never owned an android box before. How does this one compare to the MINIX U1? i was considering ordering one from Amazon. would probably use it for mostly streaming and the occasional android game.

I bought the minix u1 recently from amazon, (had it about 1 month) it's superb, works great for iplayer, 4od, kodi, mobdro, Showbox, and emulator games, and its worth buying the "A1 lite remote" . The control is very easy to use once you get the hang of it after a day or 2 of use! Supports 4k aswell but I'm yet to buy a 4k tv because I'm waiting for a much more reasonably priced hdr tv.

Might have actually found a decent replacement for my media pc. Anyone know if Android yet supports external USB Blu-ray drives? That's the only thing keeping me with a Windows solution.
Yeah, but with regards to 5G on these chinese sites talking about the latest Android TV box I was thinking it was their engrish

A quick Google leads me to agree with you. However I've never heard anyone call it 5G wifi and I think sticking to the letter designations would be much less confusing. Who doesn't remember a,b,g,n,ac?

No.
AC is essentially 5G+

This might also be a better alternative as it also supports WiFi AC and is cheaper at £41.46
EDIT: Added this: For networking Sunvell T95Z Plus uses Ethernet 10/100M, dual band WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, 2x USB 2.0 ports.

The question to ask is whether it is going to get any support.
A few of the S912 boxes have the same hardware inside and so firmware may be interchangeable but worth checking against the others to see what components are on the board.
