Is this a new thing they've started for prime members? Regardless, 15 quid works for me.

Best game ever. Almost completed it with all characters but the end is nigh on impossible without using Peach.

Nice one, my lad has wanted this for ages but I've persuaded him not to spend his pocket money on it, this will do for a Christmas present! That extra prime discount is pretty decent in this case, although most of the time you'd save that £2 & more by simply holding off buying for a week or two as most games price plummets as used copies hit the market.

Had this backordered through base, now cancelled as its cheaper with Prime, been after this since I got my Wii u...

Devil's Third might be worth checking out if you're into hybrid action/shooting games. I read the multiplayer is a blast and will be available until December 2016. Got the game for only £13.99 new so it can't be too bad.
Doubt i'll even see that stage haven't got the time or the patience to unlock everything in games anymore, i'll just defeat bowser and rescue the princess just like in the original super mario bros.

Bought Super Mario 3D, Pikmin 3 and Captain Toad at £14.17 each.
really good price. Before select release, Mario 3D brand new was around £40 for a long time.
I did not take the chance with Base at £16.85 because I guessed that after release, the normal price will drop to £15 or lower.

Don't think it's the same game as on 3ds, although similar. I have Super Mario 3d Land on 3ds and also don't yet own a Wii U. Will get this eventually though to play with my children...we currently playing on the 3ds and Super Mario Bros Wii (on original Wii of course).

Sorry for sounding thick, but if I don't have a 3d TV will this game still look OK?

Don't worry, Wii U isn't actually capable of presenting 3D. The title just means its not a flat image, think Mario 64 rather than Super Mario.
Spasho to Miss Wetwipe
1 Oct 16#41
It's not actual 3D. The game is in a 2.5D or 2.7D perspective moreso so means you have a 3D-ish look and can somewhat control the camera but not too much.

super Mario land on the 3ds is not super Mario 3D world on the wii u :stuck_out_tongue:

Mario 3D World is like a sequel to 3D Land, or a remake if you prefer. It's based around the same gameplay, camera, model.. well, basically everything.
Wish they'd new DLC to the game but that's not gonna happen.

OP update:....
So glad i bought this, this is the game i ve been waiting to play for the Wii U!
Love the style, the look the sound the gameplay is true Nintendo genius, which as much as i like playing my Xbox One shooters and racers, and dab into the PS4, this true masterclass in game making is missing from the Microsoft and Sony consoles.
A refreshing delight of a game, and one ive played non stop since i got it, .....cant remember the last time i did that!
Classic!
