I thought it was one of the dumbest films I've seen in recent years! The dialogue was appallingly amateur it actually got hard to watch without grimacing.. The whole concept of the film made no sense? The less said about the joker the better :s hopefully the new batman films will make up for it..

How bad is is the flim! I sound like my dad but most of the tracks sound like noise & the Queen cover I make no comment

The soundtrack was painfully predictable, the very definition of playing it safe.
Clearly a playlist from an executive producer's iPod.
(I despise the film and should have walked out)

+1. It was trying to be all meta and self-aware, but the result felt very phoned-in. Good soundtrack though.

Agreed!
A new song intro happened every 60 seconds in the first 15 minutes. Was atrocious.
You could tell the whole thing was re-edited and re-shot after Deadpool.

How so?.
Guardian's of the Galaxy is Marvel Comics .. whereas this Suicide Squad is DC Comics?, so ..... (they're clearly not bouncing off the same platform?).

If you find what song it is let me know, I thought I recognised a song from another and was sure it was Guardians of the Galaxy but not sure. Thought it would be odd if a song used in a Marvel film would be used in a DC film.

Good soundtrack, horrible unimaginative film. Songs crowbarred in as someone rightly said (a classic song abused in almost every scene, and cheaply used again 2 minutes later...), while the gang go on a mindless power rangers style expedition shooting faceless monsters. Joker was good, shame he got one eighth of a scene. Would rather rewatch Deadpool on mute at 6 frames per second.

That's not a good pic at all to represent her in the film. Harsh facial expression. Looked so much better than this pic in the film. Will Smith played himself as Deadpool and he obviously had a clause in the film to say he doesn't wear the mask.

Sorry but gotta vote cold because the soundtrack in the trailer put me off going to the film and now I've seen the reviews I'm glad I did. Christopher Nolan must be **** at how DC have allowed their movies to become such a joke. Love the Batman comics but how can you make such a total mess of the films with such awesome actors involved. Probably the only comic book movie I won't go to in the cinema and the soundtrack was the defining factor.

Think this was the first time I noticed all the merchandising well before the film release. Dunno what would motivate someone to buy a Suicide Squad T-shirt before the movie is even reviewed by the critics (other than just liking the design).

Of course they are, they are both 'hip' comic book movies only a couple of years apart. The fact one is Marvel and the other DC doesn't nullify that at all. If they do share a same track then it is somewhat lazy really.

I fell for it. I bought this album thinking it was the soundtrack to Suicide Squad. How wrong
Quality stuff: The Animals, The Rolling Stones, James Brown, White Stripes
None of this made it onto the soundtrack. The Queen track appears to be the genuine article in the film, and a cover on the CD.
From what I have listened of the soundtrack so far I am pretty disappointed. Probably showing my age a bit bit it feels like music for people with short attention spans. Each song is constructed of many little songs rammed together seemingly at random. A bit of rap here, 30 seconds of orchestral there, now a catchy female vocalist for a few seconds.
Buyer beware I guess.

Has there been any good movies in the 2010's ?
Seems mainly this superhero rubbish most if the time, just cartoons for teenagers really.
The supposed 'grown up' movies such as Spotlight and The Revenant are tosh.
Only really good movie since 2010 for me has been Whiplash.
