Order a Free Pay As You Go Sim from Vodafone with a £10 topup and they are giving back a Free NUS Extra membership for Students.
That represents a £2 saving over just buying you NUS Extra membership direct from the NUS.
Good deal to save a couple of quid and get a months usage of the network too.
Do consider this bit - To be eligible for a NUS extra card you need to be over 16 years old and in full or part time education
Quidco / TCB offer a cashback of £6

What details do NUS ask for? My mate finished Uni just a few weeks ago but isn't sure she can still get it or not.

Can you clarify what you mean here?
How did you get the £1.50 delivery refunded?
How are you transferring £10 to your bank account? Is that a refund for the £10 vodafone top-up?

I don't think Quidco will honour the £6 promised. I raised a claim and Quidco said they are 'unable to investigate transactions for this merchant's. I finally got my code for the NUS card sent as an email from Vodafone but can't use it as my current card runs until January and the NUS website thinks I just want to replace a card, charging me £5! All in all, this offer is not guaranteed cashback and no guaranteed NUS card. A waste of £10 really...

I went through with the offer. Topped up by £20 as was offered a 'top up gift' with this. Did not receive the NUS extra or the Top up gift.
Have called and tried the chat feature about 8-9 times. I keep being diverted to other departments and told I'll receive a call from the correct people.. Never do! I have even been hung up on when they realised they couldn't help with the problem.
I simply cannot believe this appauling level of customer service! I had heard bad things about Vodafone but this is actually shocking! Never touching them ever again...

The NUS card claim email came through eventually. You can have it posted to your student's union for free so I'll do that given I walk past it for class rather than pay for home delivery. Anyone fretting over not having the claim email from them don't stress, it took 18 hours before I got the email from them.

my card is on its way, already got credentials to use the nus app online. Also got £1.50 back from postage fees as there was no vodafone selection and instead of bundle, vodafone made it £10 credit instead. I am now in process off transferring £10 to my bank account- cashback is only showing me 50p going to chase it up to get my £6.30!

Don't hold your breath waiting for your NUS card to appear or get a code. Vodafone customer service are shocking and know nothing about this deal. The Indian call centre don't even know what an NUS card is. I am now on online chat. Keeping fingers crossed...

Am I to understand this will auto topup £10 a month from my debit card unless cancelled? Is it possible to cancel via the website or do I need to subject myself to customer services?
Anyhoo cheers op, been meaning to get a card sorted and seems as good a time as any.
How long does Quidco take to show if it's successfully tracked?

I was referring to 'You will have to pay a £1.50 delivery fee for the NUS card. Alternatively, you can have it delivered to your local Vodafone store and pick it up from there for free.' I couldn't find this option anywhere, but Vodafone gave me 2 pounds when I told them anyway...

Well I did online chat. They said in 24hours they will mail me. But nothing so far. Will contact the customer care service now. I'm not happy to visit the store. Why should I? It's just waste of time going to a store when the promotion was to Send the code online.

I have just been online with Vodafone customer services for 30 minutes. They are worse than useless. I have been assured that I will receive a mail with the NUS link within 3-4 days. And that if I don't I should visit a Vodafone shop where they 'will be pleased to help me.'

I am having the same exact problem, I only have the initial mail from Vodafone confirming the SIM card will be with me in 2 - 4 days time. Can I just ask the URL you used for contacting customer services to get the issue resolved? By the way, for anyone that pasted the deal link after visiting TCB or Quidco had the Cashback amount gone down to £0.00?
Many thanks

This offer came at a perfect time, two days after my NUS card expired! I clicked on the link in my email and using the voucher code Vodafone supplied I renewed my ISIC NUS membership. Oddly my 'Place of study' has changed to Vodafone.
You will have to pay a £1.50 delivery fee for the NUS card. Alternatively, you can have it delivered to your local Vodafone store and pick it up from there for free.
The NUS/sim card will quickly pay itself off so, in reality, with this deal you're losing £0 and gaining a free £10 sim.

I still haven't got an email confirming its on its way yet. I went through Quidco and saw that it tracked my cash back at 50p so something must be happening.
I did get an e-mail telling me to look out for an order confirmation but that is yet to be seen.
I did contact support and they said to wait 2-4 days for confirmation of the order but I think the person I spoke to assumed I already had it despite being insistent that I didn't and thus quoted the delivery estimation.

Create Amazon student account. You get prime for 6 months
From nus website u get amazon discount code. It can be used for items sold by amazon/ warehouse deals

OK but applying for my 1st NUSE card anyway. I don't have Amazon Student discount so will add this once I get my NUSE card. Got me confused with paying it via Amazon Payments. There were 3 options to pay for SIM, bank/credit card, PayPal or Amazon Payments.

Bought mine via TCB & tracked £1 within an hour but expected it to up rate to £6.30 with pre-order email around an hour later. Claims I should keep an eye out for order confirmation email. Expected delivery of order within 2-4 working days. No ideal why it should take that long to process a PAYG SIM since there are no credit checks involved.

It is quite legitimate to get an NUS Extra card as an alumnus. It has saved me a fortune at Co-op and on Amazon. Anybody who has ever done a course at an NUS affiliated institution is entitled.

My course cost £1.99 and lasted 12 weeks. It entitled me to get the NUS extra card. Didn't need a .ac.uk email to be entitled to the discount from Apple. It just worked via the NUSEXTRA website click through link.
Absolutely the best HUKD of the year for me so far. the whole thing, including the course cost me £17 'ish and what with the 10% off Co-op, 50% off Spotify, Apple discount and 50% Amazon Prime membership its literally going to save me hundreds of £ for the year. Legitimate loophole bargain in my opinion.
The biggest bonus is that I also got to learn quite a bit about photography from the course.

I picked up my NUS card (that I upgraded to an ISIC) after buying a heavily discounted distance learning course that was advertised on here last year. It needs updating in November though. I've not been in full time education for over 20 years, so the chance to get these discounts legitimately was great. It's saved me a lot of money on flights and buses overseas

Agreed - similar situation here doing the shaw acadamy Photography course which entitled me to get the NUS card. Its literally saved me a fortune. Not only do you get 10% off at your local Co-Op simply by swiping through the card, I recently bought a Macbook-pro directly through the Apple link on the NUS site and saved loads!! (approx £200) which also shipped with some free beats headphones within the offer. Absolute No Brainer - Scorchio..!

Would anyone mind sharing what deals they think it is worth getting this for. It's seems like a good deal but I'm looking through the list of discounts and I don't think very many of them are exclusive to NUS. Most you can get for just proving you are a student or through free alternatives such as unidays.
