I think they meant lack of single player content. I don't think there is an arcade mode.

I just bought Earth Defense Force, Homefront, Garden Warfare 2 all within the same week on my PS4.
Street Fighter V, Witcher 3 and Doom can wait. Those games will be around £12-15 by Xmas. And trust me, I'm in no rush...

Reviews on Amazon aren't favourable - 3 out 5 stars average. Most of the negative reviews cited lack of content. Has this been rectified since the initial release?

To be honest I loved previous SF games and have a fight stick and could handle myself quite well but SFV has put me off with its bare bones release and crap.
I'll probably get it at some point but it's far from a must buy. Decent price for anyone wanting it though.

You can get a lot of fight money easily
Each character story mode, just 4 1-round fights.
Then you can do survival easy for each character too. Just 10 easy rounds.
After that, yes it's hard to get fight money. Especially if you're rubbish and always lose online.

Yeah im guessing when all the characters get released there will probably some special season pass for all of them so I wouldnt recommend getting the season pass for now and just stick to unlocking characters you want through fight money.

So, does this contain the full game with all content?
Does the 2016 season pass simply unlock everything the normal one has, without having to play & unlock it all? Or does it contain other things/characters too?
Finally, anyone know how much effort/time it is to unlock everything?

Getting fight money is slow going, and pretty boring too TBH. I think the 'Season Pass' will net you the 6 new characters, but it wont get you all the outfits if that's your bag. And I think they're planning 6 more characters for next year too. Obviously it won't get you those.
