This looks very similar to an Aldi iron we're using at home at the moment. Iron is excellent, my only gripe is that the water tank is a bit small @ 400ml.

Bought one but after reading this comment think I should take it back and get a refund.
Was looking in Currys cheapest steam generators £50, haven't had one before so cheap way to see if I like them. Wife's not keen on them but I want to have a go, sad the things that get me going

I cannot comment on this particular one, but once you have used a steam generator iron you'll never want to go back.

I have had one these brilliant bit of kit. And excellent customer service. Mine developed a fault 2 years in the 3 year warranty. Quick e-mail prove of purchase 7 days later a new turned up.

Used mine last night, well impressed. Cuts down on ironing times a hell of a lot. Saying that though, my old iron only gave out steam when it fancied it so anything's an improvement over that.

For those that have one of these, can the water tank be topped up mid ironing, or do you have to let it cool/depressurise and then undo cap?

After reading the instructions it suggests switching iron off and letting it cool down then depressurise by undoing cap. It's something that's put me off opening the box because it won't cut down on ironing time if you have to keep stopping given the tank only takes 800ml
