Not true, they recently made it so that either version includes both versions as standard if you enter a cd key into battle.net.

Found this on battle.net - For the regions that have a standard box business model such as North America and Europe, yes, Wings of Liberty will be required in order to play Heart of the Swarm.
Mine came today
There are two separate keys - so not sure if as above - why two keys? - if the main game is including in the DLC? Surely there would only be one key ???

You buy heart of the swarm and get wings of liberty included anyway.

Guys, on cd keys and g2a you can buy Starcraft for about £6 and it comes with both versions as standard now. Whichever version you buy, it just is standard.

Sorry mate can you explain what you mean? I only see Starcraft II 2: Wings of Liberty £9.99 and Starcraft II 2: Heart of the Swarm £6.99 therefore about £17 for the 2?

This game has the depth of an ocean. It's one of the best games ever if you can afford to learn it and you're good with a keyboard. Owned both SC1 and SC2.

Great deal, ordered! Blizzard has me by the horns at the moment, developed a serious Overwatch addiction & no most likely this. Never really been into RTS games however £12 for a game with a campaign, I'm not moaning.

No need for disc for install or playing, I just redeemed code via battle.net and it installed latest version. The code is within the package so you will have to wait for delivery.

Do you need the disc each time you play this or can you just launch it through the battle.net launcher after installation?

Loved these 2 games, just for the single player campaign. Paid around £15 each and thought that was great value. I don't touch multiplayer as I'm too slow to be competitive

Thanks very much for posting. Been thinking about getting this for ages but the price has always been too high. Gone for it now
Just waiting for Diablo 3 to be reduced next.

I got my set 05/10/15 @ £15.99 (Prime) and so far never got around to playing it :smile: . In hindsight waiting for this deal would have been OK in my case :smile:.

is it worth buying the first two? do I need the third to play online?

You can play online with just the base game. You can even choose which one you want in the options after installing expansions, just in case you don't like units from the expansion in multiplayer.
I got SC2 on the day it came out and been playing it from time to time ever since, so it's really worth the money.
Online multiplayer matchmaking is based on leagues so you play against people on the same skill level. It is quite competitive and really fast paced but tons of fun.
