I'd have heated this for the title alone  but a great price for a great game have some heat

No man's sky was alright, not the game everyone, and myself included assumed it would be but then again assumptions have a tendency of making a fool out of all of us.

Just thinking back, at the time the Spore game was a bit of a let down but I think just because the hype and expectations were so high prior to its release. I thought was a better than average game but nothing amazing. Nice find though, voted hot. Brings back nice memories, hmm, worth a replay?

Tbh anybody that was expecting No Man's Sky to be a better game than Spore kinda overestimated what a small team can do. I didn't understand the hype about the game as it was pretty obvious it lacked substance. Not that Spore was amazing - it promised a lot more than NMS ever did, and didn't deliver, but it's still an AAA game and fairly decent.

Remember when this was the most hated game of all time? Disappointing and poorly received at launch? Something seems familiar...
I bet people pre-ordered this too, the clowns.

EA pushed it out a year too early, it was undercooked

Spore's release was just like no man sky, where everyone expected more than it delivered. Years on without the hype it's remembered as a much better game.

Spore is absolutely not looked back now on as a better game. IMO it's regarded as one of the biggest let-downs ever in gaming and shows how devastating a publisher meddling in on a developers idea can be.
The creature building part was the only decent section, the initial cell stage was alright (as a mobile type game) but then the second you get onto land it all became obvious that at some point everything that had a making of being a good game was ripped out in favour of simplicity when the publishers came in and tried to turn it into some Sims-type franchise.
I don't think that's the case with NMS. I think everyone involved all had good intentions, Sony included, but they just put too much on their plate and promised things they simply couldn't do. The thing is I keep hearing people say they'll add it all eventually, but honestly, I don't think they will. The last time I checked only around 5000 people were playing it on Steam.. I think they'll release patches to fix bugs but that'll be it IMO. Makes more sense for them to knock this one on the head and just bring out a sequel in a few years.

Getting an obese jockey whose just ridden 10 furlongs to fart in to a gas mask I'm wearing would be much more fun than No Man's. Sky. Btw that's also my review of No Man's Sky in case anyone is interested, now Chester it's gas mask time again.

That's happened plenty of times after eating one I bet, that and some cheap cider.

So I posted this earlier today. I bought the bundle and played it all day. Such a fun game. The complete bundle for a fiver is a bargain. Makes a change from getting a refund on a game

Bought this on release, not played in ages but remembered it being a really fun game. The sight of giant penises jumping around spitting from the 'eye' whilst wife was shaking her head as tears streamed down my face is a gaming memory that will stay with me forever.

Such a shame I missed this as it's now at £14.99. I would have tried it at the special price but not at £14.99.

How an old, crap game is a hot deal is beyond me.

Probably because it was a tenth of the price of most the new, crap games people post on here.
