I have had these for years, and when using wirelesss they periodically cut out and sound comes booming through the TV. Dont get me wrong they are great when they work however could be embarrasing if you are watching something of the more risque variety whilst having some personal time!
Anyone else had the same issues? With the cutting out i mean.....

Awesome headphones - and even though the plastic sucks big time they are still far more durable than the limited edition ones (with vibrations), whatever they were called. I've had no more ways to glue them together, these are easier to fix if they go in halves. Didn't happen to my ones over last 12 months (touch wood).
No still in stock. Also argos have got them too, do a fast rack and they will keep them for 7 days, I believe argos also has an extend option once you go to your account and the order.

Order from Tesco and do click and collect. Should be kept by the time you get back. I had a click and collect today and I had until 14th October to pick it up, so this should be similar. If you don't pick it up in thier timeframe they will simply refund you.

Paid £70 for these some months ago, and they are superb. Some folk complained at the lack of bass but I don't know how, I play Battlefield 4 through them and the thumps of explosions are pretty damn impressive. As to the surround effect, I find myself spinning to hear what I just head behind me - the emersion is very good. Definite heat added.

It's a great headset. You do have to be careful with the hinges as it's plastic and fee's like it will break if you are rough with it. I got mine for £55 through Ebay recently so was a bit gutted when this came up. Worth it though and even better at £49.
Very comfy too.

It has nothing to do with being rough with them sadly, they're just poorly built, they're more likely to break if you're rough with them but even if you're not you only have to look around the internet to see the large amount of people who these have broken on. Sony seem to have bad build quality for all their Playstation peripherals, not sure if the newer replacement to this headset is any better but it's obviously a lot more money.

these cone with a cable to hook up to the vita and phones, you will use that cable to hook up to psvr, you could do wireless but the cable will give you better 3d sound

I'm pretty sure you can't do wireless with PlayStation VR. Vr has its own output which requires 3.5. Nothing in there = no sound

Poor build quality, the plastic doe break, not suprised to see the picture of the one broken above. My previous version also broke and I kept them in immaculate condition, only used maybe 10-15 times.

These have had some good reviews (possibly paid) on websites, but alot of consumer reviews say the build quality is poor with the head band cracking/snapping.

29 Sep 16#18
If you just slide them on/off your head instead of extending them you should be ok. Not folding them up will help preserve the hinges too.
There's some on Amazon warehouse for £37.59 if you're a student...the white ones say factory sealed too.

New version due out soon. Way more expensive and not sure they are much better but might be of interest to a few.
the previous version of this, i found to be exceptional in sound quality. Used only a few times. A year later the head pieces snapped, serious design flaw with the plastic being wrecked everytime its used.

I'm on my second pair of these as the first ones had the usual fault with the plastic cracking. They still work, they just have about 4 feet of duck tape holding them together.
Best headset I've ever had for PS4 gaming - superb surround sound, great response.
