Available in blue or pink reduced to 50p in Asda local, Goldthorpe, Rotherham. This isn't National as I've seen them in the Asda in Grimethorpe today for £1

Are these the ones all the fuss was over that grow black mould in the lids?

Great price. My kids lose these before mould becomes a problem.

Full of bacteria. Avoid.

No they're not. They get bacteria when you don't clean them properly. It's not the product!

Anyone clock that the guy in the video has a horrendous-looking verruca type thing on the tip of his middle finger of his right hand? I wouldn't drink out of anything he'd touched...
Never had issue with mould but broke so many of the lids.

These are great untill they break. Had 3 break within 12 months. Washed most days, and yet the twisty lids used to stick by themselves, thus becoming unusable. Try opening them with brute force and they broke.
Back to regular flip tops for me.

These are great bottles. Both children have them and we use them for sports as well. Haven't seen any mould and they are used (and washed) very regularly. Will look to buy some more at this price! Thanks op
black mould????
used these for past 18 months, never seen any mould

Hardly scaremongering as it's actually happening and unless you clean it properly (having viewed the video of course *rolls eyes*) then it could happen to you too.

I think the point is you don't see it unless you prise open the lid.

Sent our daughter to school with these bottles. After hearing about the video, we opened ours up and found the mould.
We now stick to bottles which are easier to clean, rather than having to disassemble a bottle lid.

Watched the video, bit late though! I've already binned 3 of these bottles as they reeked of mould! Surely they should provide cleaning instructions when purchased...regular washing didn't cut it even with a sterilising solution soak! Too much faffing for mothers with toddlers I say!

these are best water bottles available in terms of not leaking, never had any problems apart from the main body bring less resistant to big impacts than other thicker walled bottles. Normally around £2.50-£3.50 is so a great price. Never seen mould, anything left wet 24/7 will go mouldy, just look after it properly.
