I would recommend the pocket sprung Ikea Hovag (medium firm) mattress. Much cheaper than this at £135. Yes, it might not be made from a fancy outer material but unless you are homeless who sleeps on a bare mattress. It's comfy (rather than back breaking hard like most Silent night mattress seem to be. I know a lot of older people who prefer the silentnight brand however be-aware their quality can be poor. Whilst Ikea is budget you do get a 25 warranty (scan your receipt) which you can actually make a claim against. I made a claim after 7 years when one of their discontinued mattresses sank in the middle (this was actually caused by the Ikea bedframe central beam bending in the middle due to no central support (however I replaced the central beam before the came out to check it). Mattress was replaced for similar value without hassle.
So basically you committed fraud as it was nothing to do with the mattress!

We got the king version of this about a year ago. Absolutely love it so far. It's not as good as something like the Flaxby 4000 from Dreams but we got it for under half the price.

If I read it correctly, it was caused by the ikea bed, so hardly fraud.

Has anyone ever bought a Dormeo mattress? I've seen adverts for it on TV and not sure if it's too good to be true!
No need to be a smart ****, espically when you obviously didn't read the full post. The frame central support beam was replaced by Ikea also (and fitted by me) however this must have caused the mattress springs to stetch out of line and thus become faulty when returned to the correct level. Ikea send someone out to test the mattress, and obviously already knew about the replaced faulty part so how on earth can that be fraud. Also, of course people are going to claim (if they have sense) after x years if the warranty is clearly a selling point and the reason why people buy Ikea mattresses.
