Don't buy white. It soaks up skin grease and discolours very quickly. In a couple of weeks it will look filthy and cannot be cleaned, even with a magic eraser. This doesn't happen with red. Cannot speak for the other colours.
The black part also clicks off, although not sure why you'd bother. Yes bulky, but very strong. Add a tempered glass screen and your phone will survive most things.

Can understand a labourer or someone wanting one of these, but the amount of daft cases like this in my office makes me laugh.
A slim Spigen or similar will protect it from most things....no need for OTT "shock proof" monstrosities unless you just like making your phone look ridiculous.

Got my moto g4 today, they are a bit slippery, so this will help. Actually very surprised this ain't over 300 heat
